The Global Economy is quietly aging

I do believe economies have always adapted to demographic shifts throughout history, I don't really think shrinking workforce automatically mean economic decline especially if productivity and automation and technology improve enough to balance the equation out. It is pretty obvious for governments that fail to prepare for aging populations to face serious challenges, especially in healthcare and social welfare programs.
