I admire some newbies that ask questions here a lot. That shows willingness to learn. You can learn about something and want to especiate on the knowledge you already have. You can create a topic about it and everyone will contribute his or her own knowledge to it. Then you read through to get a better understanding of what you partially know, instead of jumping into contributing without understanding core idea behind any knowledge.
That’s actually the best way to gain more understanding here. I mean creating a thread explaining your current understanding and requesting for more information and contribution on that particular topic, when newbies do this, it creates a space where experienced members can come in, correct errors and add their one cent to what they already know, anyone who genuinely wanna learn can actually seize that opportunity to do so.

Is there any board unverified information is needed?
The answer to this question is no, all the board in this forum don't accept fake or unverified information, this forum is a place where unverified or fake information is not accepted and when you are caught posting unverified or fake information you are going to receive a negative or neutral feedback.
The reason why unverified information is highly condemned in this forum is because people come to this forum to learn and they put into practice the information they see here, so it is highly unacceptable to post unverified information.
Spreading wrong information on the forum is definitely not a good thing. Especially if someone shares wrong information or gives wrong advice on the technical board, a new user can follow it and lose his bitcoins. That is why the technical board is taken a little more seriously and I think it is logical. However, it is not that easy to give negative or neutral feedback just for posting wrong information. Because in many cases, it may not be possible for the moderators and other DT members to verify the veracity of all kinds of wrong information. However, if someone unknowingly or intentionally tries to spread false information repeatedly or tries to mislead others, then if it comes to attention, he may be given negative or neutral feedback.

There are different parts to learning and many people need to understand it’s actually okay to be ignorant, to have ideas that you you might feel like it’s right or correct but, it’s actually wrong.

How you present it though would matter because, you might be putting to everyone what more knowledgeable people know to be wrong. When you present it in a way that is unsure, you would be corrected or pointed in the right direction without any retribution.

That way, you would have learnt something and it would stick.

No board deserves to get low, unverified content but I understand why the technical board seems to be the focal point. Most times, users especially newbies want to get a form of relevance in the forum so they feel that posting threads with little to no research or with the use of AI makes them get the attention they seek, unfortunately, the misinformation costs more than just others being misled. Any newbie that makes half-baked posts on the technical board will eventually get ignored or viewed as someone who makes misleading posts.

Before making any post in any of the boards ensure the information you are given will be helpful to the forum members and whoever comes here to seek for Bitcoin knowledge. However, there is need for proper post scrutiny in the technical board because it is all about Bitcoin, and I think this is why more caution is exercised here than some other sections of the forum. The safety of our investment is very important, and any unverified information posted here means exposing people to very high Bitcoin investing risk.
There are many information in the Internet concerning Bitcoin, but not all are legitimate information, so ensure you source real and helping information to make the technical board, and other board more formidable, and trustworthy.

To an extent o disagree with a part of your statement, which is that it’s okay to be ignorant, because I don’t think it’s actually okay to be ignorant, yes people are actually ignorant not because they chose to but because they found themselves being that way, lacking knowledge, but does that mean it’s okay to be that way? Absolutely not, because being ignorant can really cost one a lot of things that could be difficult to get back. That’s why when a person joins something or an investment they have little to no knowledge about, the first instinct should be to start gathering as much knowledge and information as possible, and not to have the mindset that it’s actually okay to be ignorant.

Ignorance is not an excuse. There is ease to information all is required is to verify the source and ensure it is reliable enough to share. I agree with @L E G E N D A R Y that ignorance is a choice. It is better to avoid a discussion unsure about or where we lack competence to engage in than sharing unverified information. It will be dump if some one decides to invest in what they know nothing about not to mention trying to engage others in joining them they not only mislead those who care to listen they might as well ruin their fortune which makes it so unhealthy.

You see the worst part is when people attempt playing financial advisor on topics they barely even understand. It’s okay if one single handedly ruin their portfolio due to their own foolishness and ignorance. But also leading other naive folks down the same lane due to sharing unconfirmed and unverified information is very toxic. If anyone knows they lack adequate knowledge about a particular topic or question, it’ll be more better to simply keep quiet than spewing false information.

You must not have all the knowledge about technical things before participating in technical discussions, when you see any technical discussion that you are very knowledgeable about you can discuss and learn more from the discussion.
One thing I hate about some people in this forum, is that when they notice you have small knowledge about a particular discussion instead of them to teach you they would rather insult you, which is very bad.

As for me, I really don’t like technical discussion, I love to talk about bitcoin investment, gambling, forum discussions, trading, politics etc. focus on the kind of discussions you love, don’t force things.

Technical discussion is a very sensitive aspect of this forum so if anybody is discussing anything there, they should be in the know and have idea what they are talking about. If one does not have knowledge on the topic of discussion, they should better avoid getting themselves involved in such conversation, better still avoid that the board and have peace.
The technical board seems more of the the platform's engine house which helps further keep the platform up and running. So anybody saying anything there should be careful as not to make any silly mistake that would warrant insult on them because it is clearly written for everyone to know the purpose and function of the board..
