Hello everyone,

I’ve set up a new Bitcoin solo mining pool: https://solominingnode.de

In the background, it’s running on a Raspberry Pi 5 with 16GB RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD.

If any newcomers are still looking for a pool, feel free to check it out Smiley
The server is located in Germany.

The latest public pool software is running in the background, just with a few visual adjustments.

My pool has also recently been listed on Mining Pool Stats.

Have fun and good luck mining 😊

Best regards,
Thomas

Would you please add some information about the mining conditions?
What reward does the mining pool take, or does the pool not take any of the reward?
Then what's the point of this solo mining pool? Have you made a pool for yourself?

Be careful about playing on a pool run on a low cost setup .  It could fail and cost you a block.

The chance of a gear fail costing a block is far more likely than hitting the block.

So if you hit a 1 in 400 year event in a day and lose the block due to the rasp pi being slow you would feel pretty poorly.

There are tried and true solo pools available

Kano
ck

have paid and are good pool guys with better equipment running the pools.

Hi,

The pool runs on the Umbrel OS operating system on a Raspberry Pi 5 with 16 GB of RAM.

Umbrel provides the Public Pool Solo Mining app, which I have updated and customized.

If a miner finds a valid block, the owner of that miner receives the entire block reward — 100% of it.

The pool is completely free, and anyone can connect their device using their own Bitcoin address.

You can also verify this yourself using the following tool:https://skot.github.io/pool_checkr/

There, you can confirm that 100% of the block reward is paid directly to your Bitcoin address.

I run this pool simply because I enjoy it and like operating a mining pool.

Best regards

Thomas
