Consumers bear most of the cost of higher prices in the market. They virtually pay higher prices for goods caused by two nations. There's a Nigerian adage that says, "When two elephants fight, the grasses suffer."
When trade wars are ongoing, the best thing is to hedge against high inflation. Or one can take advantage of the situation by buying goods that are really needed at a low price and selling them at an inflated price to make a profit. It's just business. Nobody cares about you
