On the thread, it already says this
Idk,
He might have forgotten to add it or made a typo; but I haven't seen his contribution for this month yet.
Based on past activity, samfw should be listed in this file: src/config.json. cmiiw

if repository maintainer has overlooked his submission, he can attempt to open an Issue on their GitHub repository to request a status update or clarification on why the PR was not merged.

It works on this scammer’s other site, tungtata.net, but it doesn’t work on his other sites: MiFirm.net and samfw.com.

I won’t stop I will continue updating this thread about the SamFW scam and scammer Đặng Thanh Tùng (also shown as Tungtata). He is presented as the main developer of ‘SamFW’ and MiFirm.net, and he’s based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

I was scammed by SamFW, and I’m doing everything I can to warn others so they don’t fall for this. They use sophisticated methods to connect to devices and steal credentials, accounts, and wallet funds.

I won’t leave this behind. One day justice will come I’ll wait for that day. When Tungtata is held accountable and goes to prison, that will be my justice.

Days are still passing quickly, but this case remains unresolved. Đặng Thanh Tùng, also known as Tungtata, is based in Hanoi, Vietnam, and is still walking free.

He scammed me, took money intended for my children’s future, and stole my investment funds. That money was everything I had, and the loss has deeply affected my family.

I will not abandon this case, and I will not forget what happened. I will continue pursuing every legitimate option available to me and sharing information about the SamFW scam online so that others can protect themselves.

He may try to prove that he is not guilty, but that is a common response from people accused of scamming others. I will continue seeking justice and warning others about my experience.

Samfw scam is still active and the scammer is continuing to search for more victims. Once again case has been reported to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

The individual involved (Tung tata) is using a “tool” to scam people, and the tool has already been flagged as malware by Malwarebytes. He appeared online on a forum but stopped responding !
We need to raise awareness to help stop this scam. Do not trust paid promotions, “safe” claims, or paid reviews about this tool those fake.

If you encounter or already interacted with Samfw or Tung tata’s tool, consider reporting it through the proper channels and share your experience to warn others. This scammer is based in Vietnam.

They are using sophisticated methods to connect to your device and steal credentials, accounts, and wallet funds. Please take this seriously and protect yourselves. Also do not believe Trustpilot reviews. Scammer tungtata buys them to fake it. He also keeps buying blog reviews and posting reviews to show his tool working without issue and that there is no malware inside. This is SEO work done by them to lie to the community.

Do not download, install, or run any software from samfw.com!

I believe that the person behind this Malware are doing their best to hide any trace from the public after getting a big sum of money, stolen from innocent victims. These types of crimes are getting worse everyday because sometimes it’s hard for the Police to keep track in so many cases at the same time, unless it’s a huge sum of assets that got stolen or a known company behind the story then we don’t see an actual investigation.

Samfw or similar Windows tools are always a risk to install, sometimes even antivirus wouldn’t prevent or keep your computer safe, especially when you allow the automatic updates. All I wish is that this scammer will get caught soon, and you recover your money as well. I spoke with the OP and he is truly an honest and humble person.

Any scammer or hacker obviously doesn’t want to get caught, so they try to delete any trace of what they did. That’s exactly what this hacker did. He kept releasing new versions of his software containing malware and once he managed to scam or steal from someone, he would delete those versions and upload new ones and gave some ridiculous excuses for it.

But this case is different because this developer’s information is publicly known. Once the necessary evidence is provided to the authorities and his involvement is proven, there’s no doubt that he will be in the hands of law enforcement for questioning.

Samfw or similar Windows tools are always a risk to install, sometimes even antivirus wouldn’t prevent or keep your computer safe, especially when you allow the automatic updates.
That’s right. The OP also discovered that the software can’t even be installed safely in an isolated virtual environment, which alone makes it a serious threat to users.

You make a strong point. Malware developers often remove compromised versions, change excuses, and release new builds to erase evidence and continue targeting victims.

The fact that the tool remains unsafe even inside an isolated virtual machine is especially concerning. Users should avoid installing it, disable automatic updates if it is already present, preserve logs and suspicious files, scan their systems, and report the incident to the relevant authorities and security platforms.

It’s been a long time, and SamFW Scam is still active, with more users continuing to use it. Thank you to everyone who has commented here and helped me fight against this scammer, Đặng Thanh Tùng, also known as Tungtata. He is based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

We are still in contact with the police. I will continue updating this thread and warning others so they do not fall victim to this alleged scam.
