The crypto market has been in the "red zone" (bearish) for quite some time now. Altcoins have been hit real hard, losing a significant portion of their value compared to Bitcoin. Uncertainty is very high right now.

It makes me wonder whenever now it's a good time to buy more alts (especially prominent alts) or should I wait a little longer? I hear that central banks will keep rates high (or raise them) due to the deteriorating economic situation. If that's the case, then crypto will continue to decline during the remainder of the year.

Decision of buying now is still not bad at all, but we must first identify what we are buying and as well the strategy to use in buying the same assets, it is good that Bitcoin stand the best position of our portfolio assets before considering for any other additional altcoins, because we are not in the alts season as well, which shows that everything is still pointing towards an early opportunity to buy and hold provided that we can invest on a coin that has a promising future utility.

That is a common opinion and of course we know in Bitcoin portfolio allocation should not be smaller than the overall altcoin owned, which is almost from-average we know, also about the foundation of buying coins in the market both fundamentally and technically, what you mentioned it is the basic fundamental reason.

In my personal count for the time now until the end of the year is a suitable time for the accumulation of altcoins, such as Solana which has experienced a significant price decrease from ATH which was made last cycle, BNB and Hyperliquid can also be an additional alternative for this cycle, this is for high-end assets that have big names, but for middle level assets and have the potential to rise more than 100% SUI is quite okay to enter the portfolio.

If someone is thinking of investing in alts for long term at the moment then he must keep his focus on top alts only. Solana is a good choice for long term as its price has gone down 4x of its ATH. If you buy Solana now and hold it till its next ATH then you can make 4x times return on your investment. Alts are down but keep in mind that they fall in case Bitcoin falls but in case Bitcoin moves up they don't move up to same extent. Invest small portion of your capital in alts and major in Bitcoins.

If we have more capital and if we invest in Bitcoin and after that we still have excess capital then we should start buying at a price of 64k$. When we buy Bitcoin then the price of Bitcoin will start increasing and if the price of Bitcoin decreases then we can buy Bitcoin at a lower price with the excess capital we have. The maximum pimp in Altcoin will be 2x to 10x and if the price of Bitcoin increases then up to 2x pimp will be found from Bitcoin to altcoin. If someone thinks that Bitcoin will fall from here then that is okay but at most it will go back to 60k$.  I am not willing to buy Altcoins. If some people buy them, they should also buy them now because their price has also fallen and when their time period is complete, that is, Bitcoin must strengthen, which is not visible now, so you may have to wait a long time for Altcoins.
