It all depends on the casino's rules. Have you tried contacting them to find out what you can actually do about it? They are the best people to answer your questions. You need to know which countries are permitted and which are blocked; some even specify the type of documentation they accept. Try speaking to customer support.

Hi
I am a citizen of the US as per my ID/passport. However I spend maybe one month per year there the past few years. With online casinos it says “where you are” but I work remotely- it’s great and I am lucky to do so. I do not have a home in the US. All of my belongings are in storage. I go back maybe once or twice per year to see family and for business. Never for longer than a fortnight. BUT- my identification I use is my American passport. I do not have residency anywhere else to have ID. I spend most of my time in Asia and Brazil. I live primarily in homestays or hotels. I am always on 3 month visas which I cross the border to renew. Now most online casino sites terms technically state your jurisdiction. I only really play one and they are fine. But I questioned another and they said no I need ID from the country I am based in. Without residency this isn’t possible. This also makes me nervous as I have an account with money in it at another that never asked my name or country and I have not used a VPN there- there’s only $1000 in the account but what if they ask for KYC and reject my withdrawal? I would love some clarification from casino reps around this please as I can prove where I am. But only with hotel receipts, bank transactions, entry stamps on my passport and visas. Any input would be appreciated please

I've seen several complaints about accounts being blocked in this exact situation. I'm not certain the people reporting this were in your exact situation, or were just saying that to avoid consequences. In any case, if I were you, I wouldn't risk it. I'd rather look for a casino that doesn't have regional restrictions, at least in the countries you're in. Alternatively, clarify this directly with the casino before depositing anything. I don't see the need to risk the casino blocking your money for breaking the rules, and sooner or later, it would probably happen.

IMO its alwaya the documented you are submited.

Thats the one to judge you againts T&C or not. If you submited US document and you are not on US no matter what reason remote you  gave to them. They majority mark you as US players.

Even you are on remoted, playing not from US or others.

Certainly, if someone has documents confirming residency, a visa, and employment history, it would be probably possible to prove it that he was in non resticyed country, but I agree that the casino won't make it easy and the first thing they'll do is, as you said, use the documents user have submitted. Later, he will likely need to go to third-party authorities or pursue legal action.

I don't think all casinos can behave like this or ask too much questions from their users just to complete KYC verification.
The KYC verification is mostly asked once and also when there is a suspicious attempts that is made by one of their users using their platform. Nobody wants to pass through this kind headache and it's important for us each gambler to have varieties of casinos that are being used to gamble to reduce the headache that  can arise by using a single casino.
No kyc casino can be another option op can use to bet since he is mostly travelling as a remote worker.

I assume OP is actually trying to avoid asking the casino customer support about it, because he could get his account limited, frozen or banned because he is a citizen of the United States and the casino does not support the USA or are not authorized to charter the USA market.
Actually, it is obvious enough the only reason OP has managed to access the casino is because he is gambling while in Brazil and other countries, he would not be able to gamble on there while he is visiting his motherland.

I think the best shot he has at this point, it would be submitting proof of residency or some way to prove the casino he is legally staying outside of the USA. If he immediately goes and submit his passport, he could be banned in sight, no questions asked...

The United States is already a very influential one and I don't think any casino would easily want to turn down your ID simply because your verification wasn't done on the United dates, that's awkward except the casino isn't a genuine one.
And I don't think any casino would want to block your withdrawals simply because you want to withdraw $1000, and any casino that does that, doesn't derive to be tagged a genuine casino especially when you didn't break any rules.
Always make sure you read the terms and conditions of a casino before trying them out and I also do believe that, there are casinos that have restrictions on some countries and if they noticed you logged in from such country, there are also possibility of you getting banned and verification for such cases might not be that easy as the casino would want to be very careful so they don't have issues with the government.

Interesting! All of us here can just provide varying opinions on your case op, but the casino in question and their customer support team can ultimately help you sort out this situation properly since different sites handle these things in different ways.

There is no general standard here. Even if you are moving around all the time, your permanent ID proofs and address proofs should do the trick unless the site finds some issue with them. If the site doesn't use shady tactics, you should be good. Luck matters here.

If that the case, @OP needs to contact support and ask about that or he can withdraw the money first and if everything smoothly, he should search for other casinos just in case if he need alternative casinos. But if his withdrawal reject, he can contact support and asking the reason.

I assume @OP don't playing gambling very often and only occasionally so I think he can choose the casinos from here and start playing with small amounts, only small amounts and not trying with the big. Usually, casinos will not do something if a player don't commit suspicious things so by using small amounts and play as usual, casino will not asking about KYC but if casinos asking, he can prepare everything before happening.
