when inflation gets higher it's not possible to save money because one will hardly cover their basic needs with the money.
I totally disagree that it is impossible to save during inflation this is because there's always room for adjustment, while saving during inflation might pose to be difficult it cannot be totally ruled out, you just need to make some adjustment even whilst getting little supplies for higher amount there should be a penny or two kept aside to invest for future purpose.

keeping in mind that during inflation some firms tend to increase wages and salaries to enable employees meet up their daily needs, Entrepreneurs increase the price of their goods and services, transport workers increases the price of transportation also to meet up their targets so generally every individual strives to meet up with the inflation not letting it disrupt their own business.

It is obvious that they have less to save, what was considered enough for them becomes nothing when the price of goods increases. Although this doesn't really affect everyone because despite how costly the price of things gets some people are still capable of taking out some money from what they earn to save but this is because they have a better source of income than others that find it difficult.

That depends on your income and living expenses. If you have a low income that is only enough to cover your basic needs and you've already cut every expense you can. Saving becomes almost impossible when inflation rises.

keeping in mind that during inflation some firms tend to increase wages and salaries to enable employees meet up their daily needs, Entrepreneurs increase the price of their goods and services, transport workers increases the price of transportation also to meet up their targets so generally every individual strives to meet up with the inflation not letting it disrupt their own business.

If companies had tended to raise wages to keep up with inflation, many people wouldn't be struggling financially.

During period of high inflation, borrowing cost increase, leading to higher operating cost for businesses. As a result, many companies will cut investment, scale back their operations, or even lay off employees to reduce costs instead of raising wages.

How will it be possible for a low-income person to continue saving in this time of inflation? Inflation means that the same salary will cost more than before. The amount of dollars that used to be needed to buy 5 kg of rice is now being spent due to inflation. As a result, the money that would have been saved at the end of the month is being spent due to inflation. As a result, there is no money left at the end of the month from which we can save. Again, those working in private organizations, especially in the context of my country Bangladesh, are not getting their salary structure increased, so it is becoming difficult for them to manage their family's money. In that case, how will it be possible for a low-class or middle-class family to save and save by saving for their family expenses?

The life of the workers in the private sector becomes unbearable because commodity prices have increased a great deal with no rise in the monthly wages. When their food supplies run out unexpectedly, heads of households are bound to be scrambling to find alternative means of feeding their families. It is not possible to save money because their pockets are already full with miseries of life.

The thing is that before, people have that privilege to purchase whatsoever they want, and go wherever they wish to go because what they earn is enough for them to spend. But nowadays due to the increased in the rate of inflation, there is increased in the rate of the commodities and everything has been cost so you can't expect everything to be the same as before. You just have to cut down the expenses to ensure that you were able to meet up with your requirements. It is impossible to save if you are not financially stable.

Those who earn some extra income can still save some money during high inflation times but those who earn minimum wage can't safe anything, it's easy to say such things because we don't belong to that class who hardly fulfill their basic needs. For such people it's not possible to save money, and it's very hard for them to even fulfill their basic needs during high inflation. In theory we can say it's possible but in real life it isn't possible to save anything when you hardly fulfill your basic needs with the money that you earn.

The answer is straightforward and that is because there's less to be saved.

Inflation means that the same salary will cost more than before.
Correct me if I am wrong but I think it's the opposite.
The same salary due to inflation is going to be lesser in purchasing power. It's because we're talking of the salary.
But that's clear that the goods that we used to buy before with our salary costs even more because of inflation.

Is not the reason it is clear because when inflation then indirectly we must also think that we save will only make its value decrease from day to day so it would be very appropriate when the interest in saving is very small because they would be better off thinking about the safest way to secure the money they have rather than having to keep saving with a value that is increasingly shrinking.

In addition, when inflation occurs, the increase in the cost of living will increase and we must be prepared for the worst because it could be that the money that we think is big now when inflation occurs will not be useful.  This is the reality experienced now does not mean we will not save but in this condition it will be better to find the safest alternative to hedge that we have with investments than trying to save and cultivate money in savings.

It's a no brainer, unless the minimum wage increase at the rate of inflation, it is literally impossible for some one to have the purchasing power he had before talk more of saving. Inflation and deflation moves and upward and downward trend but one thing that is constant is inflation will always occur overtime.

The only people that benefits from rapid inflation is those business owners that buys goods in bulk and hoarde them the price reaches market cap, then they cash out on the profit margin
Minimum wage increases during inflation will not have any impact because it is realized or not the increase in the minimum wage will be much slower than the rapid rate of inflation so it could be that this will not give anything and in the end saving is still not the best way for us to secure ourselves from inflation.

For the current condition of savings will still be quite effective but for the medium term rather than long term means we just have to try to save fiat in savings only to be used in the next few weeks or months.

I apply this now where I still keep money as savings but it is only for medium-term needs let alone the exchange rate of my country's currency is getting destroyed so it is not too worth it for me to keep fiat in the long term and I now prefer to be in investment to secure hedged value or the last option is to save in foreign currency (although this also does not avoid inflation but at least this is slightly better than saving in my country's currency).

Many people takes their savings in banks but in banks money remains in same amount after time and if it invest in any business then it grow with time so it's the best way of financial growth as compared to saving it in banks. However we should need to keep balance and save some money for emergency situations and the other investing in business. No doubt investment gives high return and financial and mental stability but in investing a lot of risk is involved so people should research on the basis of the business in which they invest. Every individual have different goals and approaches to risk tolerance so for every individual business strategy is different which should he must adopt. Financial education is the important for business so we should start with small investment and stay consistent for long term growth. Then gradually we automatically learn how business works and how we make better decisions to take it long term.
I do not think that it is as simple to save during inflation as you have said in reality and wide spectrum inflation make it very difficult to save especially for the people who are running very low or for the people who are from the middle class family, as the prices of everything goes up and they have to manage everything they have to spend the largest share of their income just so that they can cover the basic necessity of life so they are not left with the money to save.

Also saving during high inflation can causes the purchasing power to be low over the period of time because money loses value as the prices increases so that is the main reason that most of the financial experts always encourage people to invest in assets as compared to just keeping it. Saving is a good habit but it is not making people good enough to save more.

This normally affect few of the middle class and it all affect poor people in general, the people from the upper class are those that normally don't feel anything about inflation just because of what you said, having enough is when you can be able to save big because that's simply means that you're having a very comfortable income. Those in the middle class can as well save but very little, because the inflation will definitely affect them very well due to what they are earning is not big. Those in the lower class do not have savings at all because even without inflation they find it very difficult to handle their needs.

Those in the lower class do not have savings at all because even without inflation they find it very difficult to handle their needs.
Let me tell you how it generally works when inflation keeps increasing constantly. The upper class gets a small reduction in the money they could save before because now they will have to spend more money than before. The middle class start having no savings at all, some might even struggle in managing their expenses because of the constant increments in the prices of goods and services while no increment in salaries and incomes. And, the lower class or we could say the poor class becomes indebted to the core, they can't even get the basic necessities anymore with what they earn. Some of them even commit suicide because of the hardships they face in such economies.

So, the point is that it's never a choice for people to save or not save money during inflation, but things get adjusted automatically and those adjustments can't be managed, they can only be seen and observed and bore, if you can't bear them, you will end up doing what I just mentioned above, otherwise, you will have to struggle to provide a living for your family. This is what people in most third-world countries face in current times.

People should save silver spoons and other things unpopular and out of fashion but which have a good long term prospect especially available to reuse.  Bit late doing that now but never too late absolutely, you can be sure inflation continues until debt fails and they cant just keep printing more money to pay bills instead of paying honestly.

Inflation destroys the economy because honest workers cant just do their job and get paid knowing it'll be enough to last long enough for all their bills.  When you lose wages and cant save its the beginning of the end imo, lose the plain worker and you dont have a proper economy imo.  Its a feedback loop of increasing harm seems like, someone has to take the hard hit of halting the cycle before it collapses.

I think that is just the general idea of it and investors are just getting smarter this days instead of putting a lot of funds into a liquidity or savings that might not be a good choice anymore because of the inflation a lpt of people are just going to say that it was a bad move, and people know that. Investing into other asset are mostly going to be the normal choice even going straight to that investment without even having the financial foundation yet, important thing is your investing on income generating assets these days.
