I use both of them sometimes. TradingView is choppy; switching back to the built-in chart by the exchange shows me a cleaner chart than TradingView. But since the built-in chart from the exchange has limited indicators or some of the indicators do not exist that you can see from TradingView, I still need to combine them when analyzing just to get what I need from another chart.

Like on the mobile version of the chart, it's clearer to me to use the built-in one than the TradingView chart, and you have an option to slide your position, TP, and SL on the built-in chart.

However, there are many advantages of using TradingView so we can't argue about tools because almost all the tools you need exist.
That is the way to go, in most cases we are looking at limited stuff at an exchange chart but it if it is enough and you see what you want to see then you do not need tradingview and you can just use binance chart for example and it will suffice. However, if it doesn't work out and seems like choppy and not enough then you go with tradingview and try to look for further details and you are going to get a lot more out of that.

Of course both of them is the right answer because one is superficial and sometimes enough and the other is more detailed and more complicated but gives you more results. Doesn't mean either would help you profit all the time, you can still lose, but you are going to have an advantage.

I prefer to use the charts on the exchange, and I admit it is much better than the free view shown by TradingViews although I also sometimes use it if I want to see other assets with a much longer history than those on the exchange in general, on TradingViews I also mostly look at other assets besides Crypto because there I am much easier like S&P or even hot commodities, local stocks, I like to rely on the TradingViews platform, but if asked for my trading, I prefer to use the exchange itself rather than looking for external ones.
The difference is no limit, gated API behind an exchange account with tiered KYC vs a free chart with public facing interface that even bots could access.
Honestly if tradingview charts were only limited to premium users, the chart would be as responsive as the one available in the CEXs but it's still good that they make it free.

I have noticed most of the forex traders that later learn about crypto trading like tradingview chart. In fact some exchanges have their own chart which is the default and also have tradingview chart which you can change to.

I do not learn about forex, I have only preferred crypto trading which I learned by myself. I prefer to use just the exchange chat for making analyses as it contains everything that I need like the indicators and tools that traders can use to draw on the chart.

Someone told me the exchange chart is somehow, that tradingview is better.

What is your opinion about this?

Which one are you using?

I am not referring to any other tradingview, not any paid trading view. I am only referring to the tradingview chart which is free on trading sites. I think it is the traditional chart, while the exchange chart can be referred to the modern chart.

Alll these things are relatable at some edge because fundamental of trading kinda fit same in both spaces. Well, i have no experience of forex trading and have never tried. But understand what it is and how it works. Other than this, in my personal point of view if you are the kind of person who do or take more trades then tradingview is more better option for doing analysis rather than relaying on exchange charts.

I am saying this because tradingview contains more filters and option for better analysis as compared to exchange. You can extract more data using tradingview as compare to exchanges. Tradingview view provides user more wider screen view that also helps a lot. And yeah you are right that one can use free version or sites of tradingview rather than using paid one. DYOR!

What is your opinion about this?

I personally use the Tradingview which is available on most crypto exchanges. I started with crypto as well  and after trying both i found tradingview is easier to use. The drawing tools feel smoother and the layout is cleaner and it is more comfortable for technical analysis. I don't think the exchange  default chart is bad. I believe the most important thing is not the chart itself but how well you understand price action and manage risk  and follow your trading plan. In my opinion  many traders prefer tradingview because it is good among crypto and Forex and even stocks  and other markets. Once people get used to it  they usually stick with it. But in the end  both charts show the same market data  so your skills and discipline will always matter more than the platform you use.

I guess people like to settle with what they're comfortable with or that suits them. When I started learning crypto trading, it was on TabTrader. I used to trade directly on that app connected to my Binance account then through its API. It used to be a pleasant experience for me. For those who don't know, TabTrader was a charting app like Tradingview but was for cryptos. The app later started monetizing some of its features and trading on it became not too smooth an experience anymore. Some of us abandoned it.

Cex platforms can only offer charts for coins and tokens they have. Tradingview is also limited to what assets it charts. There's an Ave app I started exploring recently and I'm loving it. Every asset I checked on that app through their CAs popped up, even those I couldn't find on Gecko terminal. The good thing is that one can trade directly on the said app too. I'm not recommending it as I'm still observing it. It's not a new app, I must say, but I just started using it.

For me, it's all about habit. TradingView has become popular because it has a similar interface across exchanges, so once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use anywhere. On the other hand many exchanges own charts are now much better than they used to be and are more than adequate for basic technical analysis, In my opinion what's more important than which chart is good is what you use regularly and can consistently analyze.

If you learn trading through online tutorials you will think that exchange chart is the best, because it's easier to interpret it's chart, and most of the people who claims to be trader uses a exchange chart to analyze...why Tradingview is the best for me, because the analysis functions is for deep technical analysis and that's why it's mostly use for most of the big trading platforms...I maybe say that both are good but it depends on the one you understand better...

I have used many exchanges before and I still know how their chart interfaces are. They are all similar like they are copying themselves. So both tradingview and the crypto exchanges chart have similarities across all platforms.

I do not know which one is best, but I know that many traders will say exchanges chart or the tradingview is better, but most of the traders are losing money while making use of any chart.

Bro sometimes you act like you are a rookie, but I appreciate your openness.

Well, I have used both, exchange's chart for quick overview but for proper analysis I prefer trading view and if you can manage to buy it, you can enable more indicators but with free plan you can use only few on single chart.

I am using free because I can manage with free version, I have used premium as well, and to be honest it depends on your time, if you are doing it full time then pro is better.

It depends on you, if you think for you exchange's chart is enough then you do not have to change anything, if it works for you but if you want to move on to tradingview that's even better in my opinion. But keep in mind that there are different things there that you will like and once you will use it you will know why I said it is better than exchange's charts.
