Do You Actually Verify Provably Fair, or Just Trust the Casino?

Yea we know it could still be used by casinos just for promotion, but that's not a good reason for me to suddenly trust a casino. The probably fair doesn't apply for their payouts or reputation. That's just a prove that their games aren't manipulated but they can still manipulate your winnings and give you some talks about breaking rules so reject your payout.

But don't always believe casino ads that only appear in a few weeks, let alone a new casino that pops up and then cancels the campaign in just a few weeks.
It is still unverifiable whether it is a fair casino or a casino that will just disappear and take the player's money just like that.

I once feel for such shitty brand before and got scammed, that's enough lesson to tell other people not to trust a new casino without them proving to be earn such trust. Even launching a signature campaign isn't a good reason to trust them. Some already knows the drill so they put out a shit casino just to get the biggest player and run off with players money..

A casino can say that their games are provably fair and still end up cheating the players, this is common with casinos that are not regulated. Speaking of casinos that are reputable and all that has evidence of being provably fair I don't think there's actually a point to this because at the end of the day these casino games are still designed to win or make profit.

I actually can't remember the last time I verified the provably fair of a casino. I think the concept was something many gamblers don't prioritize now because provably fair discussion nd mentioning of it by gamblers is not like years ago, nd i dont know the reason for it. Maybe gamblers understanding and impression bout casino and their gaming services are now different. 
Personally, I don't care about it anymore once I'm sure the casino is a platform that's worth trusting.

Looking at everyone's response about Provably Fair, most of them do not check and don't even know about Provably Fair,
only play at casinos that do have a high reputation advertised on this forum and some casinos that from the past to rarely still exist are favorite casinos.

A lot of people say about Provably Fair this is indeed just a one-sided claim from online casinos, but of course if they say about this Provably Fair feature,
maybe it can be checked in advance if it does exist and works well to know if this gambling is fair enough or not, if it is just nonsense for marketing, they probably won't tell you in detail.

Honestly, I don't verify the fairness of my bets, I tried the process for educational purposes a few times so that I know how it is done, but I never implemented in real life while I am betting, I should stop being lazy to do that.

But there is no point in verifying every bet as well, once you get the doubt about the results and the casino provide the way to verify it then you can so it is useful for the players whenever they need.

Same applies to me, I don't think I have time to be even doing all this, because after I might have find out what I intended to know, there is still nothing I can do about it or change regarding the provably fair games, once we have taken gambling as an entertainment, things like this will not be a major concern to us because we are not really concerned about knowing if this is true or not, but I know that many casino will definitely proclaim 100% about this.

Not just Duelbits, also Stake and many gambling sites that I have visited before have it. But I am very certain that most gamblers do not check it. What most gamblers are doing is to make use of a reputed gambling site that they think will not cheat them. But that is not a problem because there are few people that will verify if the games are truly provably fair or not.

Funny enough, the two options is the answer. Different casino, different style, different marketing structure, etc. While reliable casinos are doing everything possible to ensure players benefit from provable fairness, other casinos are using that idea to market themselves, just for the players to later find out that provable fairness is just a trap. A casino that tells lies to sell itself is not to be trusted.

Since we can not be checking the probably fair of every game we are playing, the best is to use a good casino that has been known to  be reputable in their games and offers. Looking for a casino with these feature can take too many time especially checking on their for this feature. Most of the good casinos in the forum may have probably fair games on their platforms.

To be honest, I check the casino platform I use to see if there are probably fair options. But I don't check after my gambling to see if everything is okay. Gambling is a kind of pleasure and we go there knowing that there are risks. So when I gamble, I just enjoy the gambling games and never check how fair their results are. In other words, I trust that platform and continue gambling without checking the probably fair. I think maximum gamblers are not very serious about this. The gambling sites are designed to make money from people, which is how the gambling industry has been since a long them ago because gambling sites are businesses and they are not doing giveaway that will make them to eventually close down the gambling site. The games can be provably fair, but the odds are not fair. That is just how gambling sites are. But they are better than gambling sites that are not having provably fair games than manipulations in a way that no one would win but everyone will be losing.

I think provably fair can be manipulated. I don't mean that it's giving you false results or you can somehow cheat it, I mean I feel like some casinos can cheat their players. I am not a dev or coder so I have no idea how but I have heard of salted seeds.

I think similar. I mean first of all I have no clue about the technical stuff behind it, but it's just a bunch of numbers and letter and so on. They could as well show me some phrases in Thai language and tell me "see, it's provably fair", wouldn't make a difference since both looks the same for me. 
And hey, the casinos/game developers came up with the provably fair stuff, not some outside entity that has no gain from players feeling "safe".

That’s correct, just because a casino has the provably fair feature doesn’t really mean the casino should be automatically trusted. This is because the provably fair feature only proves that a game’s outcome wasn’t actually manipulated, but it doesn’t in anyway guarantee that the casino’s withdrawals would be smooth or they’ll give players a fair treatment. Just as it’s okay to know that a casino has the provably fair feature, it’s also much important to also consider the withdrawal history, the reputation and the support system of the casino.

i don’t check for provably fair because i wouldn’t gamble on a site i don’t trust enough to warrant checking it in the first place. also, i think that if they wanted to, casinos could easily falsify and manipulate provably fair results. that’s why i think it’s pointless.

Can the harsh be manipulated because that is the most possible way to have a casino with a probably fair system still ringing their games and putting it up for the gamblers to verify despite knowing that they have cheated in the process, but as you rightly said none reputable casinos can actually do anything just to put themselves at advantage over the players.

I do not think provably fair are the same as they preached currently because most of the casino could use that as an access point for the player to keep using them at all time. Although, I do not think that online and offline casino posses the same risk factor. Most time it could be that easier to make winning on land-base casino than that of online, where they are using provably fair to lure people to keep using their gambling site.

The casino having a provably fair feature doesn’t in anyways mean that the gamblers actually has a higher chances of winning, although it could prove that the casino wouldn’t try anything funny or attempt any form of foul play at all. This only means that the casino is transparent but doesn’t in anyway improves or guarantees wins, the house still has an edge in the game, the gambler will still love more than they win and the house would still win more, and that’s just the game.

I haven't actually bothered to verify this before and the reason why I don't bother is because I always make sure I'm making use of casinos that are highly reputable so I don't have to doubt the casino. Trusting the casino totally might sound stupid but when you make use of casinos that are popular and trusted by lots of people you are also going to get comfortable and you would forget to verify if the casino is provably fair or not.
