You’re right, Accident doesn’t inform someone before it happens, that’s what makes it more disheartening. If the news about Jordan’s injury is true, it’s really heartbreaking because every players  dreams is to play for their country in the World Cup. Missing this opportunity alone may break him down emotionally and physically. At the same time, we should not jump in to conclusion until all fact are cleared, because sometimes delay in releasing information maybe due to verification or official procedures.  I wish him quick recovery, no matter what health comes first before any other thing. Watching the video, it is so sympathetically seeing how he was confident of himself to jumped across the board and he was slipped off and broke his hands, this could happen to anyone out there if time not taken.

OMG, this incident is just a miscalculation misplaced hand same place the other player followed almost in the same patterned who used to jump and cross the board, but luck ran out of his side. I'm just imagining the pain he felt before even being rushed up and the medical team taking over before talking about the rest of the competition that he will be missing out as this is the unforeseen situation we talk about in players life.

A slippery hands on which didn't get a grip of over where he was trying to jump over as did his teammate before him. Yes, that's what I mean, and no matter how we dont forget something we learn from childhood, the energy to do it is not always the sme. Besides, in some cases, our body will not align with it due to the time span we dont participate in the activities.
I could remember when i was a teen, I used to play football the last time i played 10 years ago with the aim of playing with previous knowledge, and strength, I was surprise i could kick the ball very well. I also have to take some treatment the next day.
This, I believe, is what happened to Neuer.

We take sometimes such incidents that are shown as some humor in some programs very lightly but only the people who suffer from them understand the level of damage a person can sustain by such accidents. I personally have a lot of empathy for such persons as they are confronted with a difficult situation in life and not all people react equally to their incidents or the scale of such happenings. Personally I have learned to accept everything in life and be humble so I wish these athletes all the very best in their life.

Hope this injury isnt serious and he will recover soon, and glad that he is not a goalkeeper, so that injury should not influence on his performance much (except he cant throw ball in game properly). I think he has enough time to heal his injury before teams next game. This is a life time opportunity, I think he should do everything to get back in game and help his team, then sit on the bench and watch teammates play

And the OP started with a great hook, when I realized Henderson played zero minutes but was in worse shape than the players on the pitch. Incidents like this bring us closer and more aware of the players' conditions, and I'm drawn to this discussion for the entertainment. Henderson has been the most vocal so far.

You sound surprised to have asked if these also happens in professional football, but yea, it does happen and this is not the first time it's happening in FIFA world cup, if you were very active in the 2014 world you probably would have noticed that Neymar fractured a bone on his back and that made him to miss the Brazil finals because he was placed on treatment, then Raúl Jiménez also fractured his skull I think that was in 2020 or 202 and it almost took a year to recover.

Yeah, that incident was so ridiculous. He broke his arm, and now he will be out of the tournament. He will miss it a lot and may be out until next club season. This incident shows us that athletes are human too, and any small carelessness can lead to a huge loss, especially for their team. Now his team will suffer.

I just heard about an incident that was not in football but in handball, where a player took a shower in the washroom, slipped, and injured his back, missing important matches because of the pain. So, a small mistake can cost a huge loss. They know how much the team spends on them, and when they are injured, the investment is gone.

Funny, but how is it possible for someone with all this charge to still be regarded as leader it more like he was there for the fun and not real game from what is written in the flier, I guess those were just made up stories for cruise. I once stumbled on some videos of different activities both sports games and lifestyle shows where some people were displaying some horrific performance, and this show was tagged; "do not practice this at home " the performance where scaring, for sports the players does some scary things or attacks to their opponent, like kicking their both legs off the ground, pushing harshly. And for whistling, more scary. There were lots of ridiculous display in those games that scares me on their behalf.

It will take Jordan Henderson six to ten weeks for his wrist to heal. So he is technically not going to feature in this World Cup. He would end up sitting on the bench, cheering his teammates and giving them all the support they need.

There is no need to worry about his total recovery because I am sure England has some of the best doctors and physiotherapists who will ensure that he returns to football.

I also saw the clip posted on another social media site and that was one unfortunate fall. The man just wants to celebrate with the squad, but ended up getting stretchered off with a broken wrist.

Either way, the England squad is very stacked, so it'll be fine for him to spend all the time fully recovering.

Although that wasn't an accident, it was premeditated, but it was absolutely ridiculous how it happened and how it was planned—the Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan case. They even made a movie about it; it was so stupid.
I remeber other, one from my era (I say this because of my age) is the one that gave none other than Iker Casillas his opportunity. He was a substitute, but the starting goalkeeper, in the bathroom of the hotel where they were staying, spilled his cologne, and in his reaction to stop it, the glass cut his foot... and if that hadn't happened, who knows if Iker Casillas's story with the national team would be what we know.

I think it was a catastrophically ridiculous incident, because the player jumped over the boards awkwardly, landed on his hands, and broke his arm. Now he'll miss the rest of the World Cup because of it. And I can easily imagine that he could also miss the start of the new club season.

Things like this will always happen and footballers get injured easily from their silly mistakes or in a way of having fun they get injured so it not a new scene in the beautiful games. The Incident of Jordan is very ridiculous because why will a player just jump over a board and get injured just like that, though it happens in football where a player can get injured from celebrating a goal that is scored so it's just normal.

Jordan will probably end up seating on the bench cheering his team mates during this world cup because it will actually take 5 to 6 months before he will recover from the injury and the world cup will be over, some silly mistakes needs to be avoided in order not to get injured sometimes. Cases like this always makes room for another player to have an opportunity to play so it favors another which ordinary he won't have gotten the opportunity to play if the player wasn't injured.

I think its part of their work to potentially got involved in such accidents or incidents in the game but pretty sure thats the last thing they wanted to happen at any games. This isnt only on football but in all sports. One wrong move and can experience a worse incident inflicting body injuries. What I just dont know if their pay would be cut or if they out for certain season due to injury?

incidents like that I think are part of the risk because in any case there is a risk like this, and we don't know if this will happen or not but obviously we should know something that can happen outside of our predictions, but I think when the situation is happy like when scoring a goal usually the players will celebrate and there are also those who jump over the Billboard who do have the risk of landing imperfectly.
With an incident like this cendera can happen, I can't think of another case like this.
