This fight is nearly approaching and i browsed the odds of this fight, nothing significant has change still Teo Lopez is the heavy favorite to win this matchup. I have not made up my mind yet on whom to bet but the odds for Rolly Romero to win by decision is very attractive considering that this will Lopez first fight at the welterweight then i think betting for Romero is worth a try. I'd be going for Teo by decision. I put Teo's durability as the thing that can help him to win this even by decision. I know Rolly seems underrated here, but i don't like his consistency. Romero is a one hit wonder until proven otherwise. He has lost to Pitbull Cruz, one of the most one dimensional fighters I can think of. He also should have lost to Barroso who was 40 and looked closer to 50 years old.
It's the thing that gives me guts to bet on Teo. Rolly got beaten by average boxers while he's also doing pretty well against high rated boxers. His up and down is making it so hard to guess whether he's good or bad boxers. So i can hope he will be doing badly in this game like he did when he lost to Cruz. So Teo can take his first win game in the current weight.

Although I love Teo, but I would agree that maybe Romero here is worth a try. It looks like he is also riding high on his upset win against Ryan Garcia. And so being a underdog here, and with that kind of odds specially by decision, it's really attractive to bet. Still some weeks though, but if you can lock in your bet this early, you still might get a better odds for him. I don't think that the odds might change in favor of Romero, maybe just a small movement and that's it. I very much disagree on your assessment that Rolly Romero might be underestimated for this fight because he won against King Ry. Rolly is being given a storyline that he is better than what the odds make him appear to be, however, this is not correct. It was King Ry who did not perform according to his real level as a boxer. I speculate that this is because of the father Henry. He might not be the correct trainer for him. But the question is Rolly Romero is really that good? Or he is just one hit pony for all we know? I don't know who's given him that storyline that he is better than what the odds are showing. So I don't that Las Vegas odds makers are going to do that. If not train by his father, who do you think might be a better trainer for him? Removed Reynoso in the equation. Teddy Atlas? or Robert Garcia?

You say before that Rolly Romero is worth a try because he might be a good boxer after the victory everyone has witnessed against King Ry? However, presently you are questioning him? This is headshaking heheheh. In your original argument, I replied that you might be making an assumption that Rolly is better than his underdog odds and you presently appear to be making my argument against you for me heheheheh.

If Isaac Cruz is considered an average boxer, then George Kambosos Jr. should probably be considered average too. Both fighters already have two losses and both have been beaten before. With that, I would not really take Teo to win by decision at those odds. For me, the more enticing bet with better value is still Rolly winning by decision.

However, Teo's lost to him is already in 2021. Teo has improved a lot compared since then, and his fight against Shakur was the proof though he lost it. He gave a tough fight to the Shakur, and he also proven how durable he was by received so many punches from Shakur, but he could still stand.

The fight between Rolly Romero and Teo Lopez is going to be a tough one , both are excellent fighters with their own unique fit . Rolly fighting style is quite aggressive and unpredictable with his weapon with is his power , his punch usually come with lot of force , while Teo in the other hand is quite faster when come two the fighter . I’ve watched both fighters fought In the ring, so it won’t be an easy pick . A fight between WBA welterweight champion and a former WBO junior-welterweight champion.

In an interview with DAZN, Rolly made the claim that Manny Pacquiao ducked him. It is a funny thing for him to be saying when he’s been out of the ring for 15 months because he didn’t want to fight his mandatory. He also ducked Ryan Garcia when he was with Mayweather Promotions and Al Haymon convinced him to fight Isaac Cruz instead, where he got knocked out. Rolly has never been a big enough name for Pacquiao to even consider him until the Ryan fight, and even then it made more sense for Manny to fight Barrios with a better risk/reward ratio and then go after Mayweather.
If Isaac Cruz is considered an average boxer, then George Kambosos Jr. should probably be considered average too. Both fighters already have two losses and both have been beaten before. Teo has a win against prime Lomachenko, and that far exceeds anything Romero has done. He was arguably the undisputed champion, if you want to recognize the WBC Franchise title holder as the real WBC champion. Teo lost to Kambosos when his health was not great and the match got delayed for a long time because of money issues and Teo getting COVID. He also recovered from the loss and went on to beat Josh Taylor. He isn’t the most consistent fighter, but he is on another level compared to Rolly.

The betting odds already say a lot, and Im sure that's also what many bettors see, thats why Teo is the heavy favorite to win. So now it really depends on where we want to put our money. Favorites don't always win, and an upset in boxing is nothing new. On paper, I also see Teo as the better boxer. But personally, I don't fully trust fighters who already have losses, especially when the odds are too low.

Boxing, first and foremost, is a sport But it has been commercialized, turning a pure sport into a mix of sport and entertainment that allows organizers to make money. However, this phenomenon isn’t unique to boxing-it applies to any spectator sport. Even the Olympics and world championships are shows and businesses. If people are willing to pay, someone is bound to monetize it. On the other hand, professional athletes receive very high compensation for the risks involved, and let’s not forget that virtually any sport involves the risk of injury, whether they’re paid for it or not. I can give you many examples from a vast array of sports where, unfortunately, athletes suffer injuries and even disabilities... That's how been sports is even at the start, it goes back historically to gladiators wherein everyone is watching for entertainment. As Maximus of the movie gladiator once said, Are you not entertained?
And that's what my point is, it's entertainment and so they wanted to be pay handsomely. But you argument says that they don't need to trash talk in press conference to sell the fights. But if they don't then how can they sell the tickets and make the fans wanting more even before the fight even started? So we can say today that trash talking is part of any sports. Gladiatorial combat is something a little different. It’s part of the "bread and circuses" model organized by rulers. That bloody spectacle is a far cry from the sport I’m talking about. Back when I was active, I competed in an amateur league and played for a team. We held competitions, gained experience, fought matches, and racked up victories to achieve a higher status, but we didn’t receive any financial compensation- just like sports clubs. Those who switched to professional boxing likely ended up in "commercial sports", where it was turned into a spectacle and a business. I really hope that these guys, in the heat of battle, won’t forget about friendship and their responsibility for their friend’s health!

I think Teofimo Lopez will win this boxing match. In my opinion, he's superior to Rolly Romero in almost every way. 🙋
Lopez is younger, faster, and more technical than Romero. Rolly Romero could try to knock him out in the early rounds, but I'm confident Teofimo Lopez is prepared and can avoid the risk. Rolly Romero is aggressive, but that's unlikely to intimidate Teofimo Lopez or disrupt his rhythm...
In my opinion, the extra weight will only make Lopez's punches stronger. He has a powerful punch and high speed... Therefore, I expect the fight to end in a knockdown (TKO) or even a knockout.👊
