It might seem unlikely to some but I'd prefer for Norway to win this world cup, if for nothing else then to just see the Haaland meme keep growing, plus Norway's performance has really been admirable so far and the same countries winning the world cup repeatedly doesn't really bring much excitement to it for me.
But if I'm talking about the popular world cup winners then I'd prefer for France to win over Argentina but this is all wishes and hopes, i don't really know what to expect at the end of each match.

Norway was able knockout Brazil in the world cup which people never expected well that's football any thing can happen and it's also unpredictable. But it would be nice if other countries like Norway England or Morocco should win the world cup, France and Argentina played last world cup final and Argentina won i hope it shouldn't repeat again this time. Argentina has been getting favor from FIFA if you watch their game from the start of the world cup they never played any strong country and even when they are playing they still get favor from from FIFA i think the FIFA president really want Messi and Argentina to win the world cup again.

I will still pick my Argentina any day anytime because of my love for my G.O.A.T Messi, he has invested all his life into football and in the past years have just managed to win only one World Cup, he has really been a source of joy in football in this current generation and it won’t be bad if this his close retirement period will be a time for him to keep on reaping all the fruits of his labor, Mbappe and Haaland are still younger stars who still have lots of time on their side and can always still dominate after Messi is gone but for this few years left for Messi i will prefer he shines as much as he can. Another reason i feel the Argentina team would win is the level of team spirit that they portray, last World Cup they won was because of collective efforts from the entire teammates including wonderful saves from Martinez the goal keeper, the last match they won 3:2 against Egypt to qualify was also out of great team spirit, i would really prefer Argentina to win this World Cup, they are my favorite.

If you ask me, I don't want Argentina nor France or even Spain to win this 2026 world cup. Argentina are the defending champions, France won the last edition before Argentina, and also played the finals against Argentina in the last edition. Spain was the winner 2010 I guess so.

It is normal to fans a particular team and whole heartedly wishes them well to be victorious in their matches but as the game of football or prediction market is implied, it is usually want how we expects the games to play that it outcomes.

Are they the only strong teams in the semifinals?  How about Norway or England or even Morocco, just concedering this 2 teams as the favourite to win the world cup isn't really complete.

Which country is better than France currently in the World Cup, Argentina are a good side but let's give France their flowers for the brilliance, both as a team and individual intelligence, see the goal from Mbappe and it was an incredible strike from him, the passes from Olise, the defense work rate, France is definitely going through to the last final.

If Norway wins the quarter-final match between Norway and England, it will meet Argentina in the semi-finals. Because Argentina will win the match against Switzerland. And that is where the real game will be played between the two legends. Meanwhile, France will be able to overtake the teams that will be played against France in the future, so France is going to the final match. My prediction is that England or Argentina will play against France in the final match, but if it looks like the way Norway played against Brazil and beat Brazil, then Norway can beat England and face France in the final. However, the way FIFA is giving Argentina the facilities, it seems that Argentina is going to play the final match again. Norway is one of the most loved teams in the World Cup so far then followed by Cape Verde.
Norway put up such an incredible performance that no one expected. In my estimation they are the new kings of Europe … we no longer remember the Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and others. It’s now Norway.

If you ask me, I would like to see Spain winning the world cup again. The next match versus Belgium shouldn't be a problem for them, and it would place them in the semi-finals. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, they started out as favourites, even above France (by very little), and although perhaps their performance has not been extraordinary, I think that in general they have not disappointed either.

I would even lean more towards Spain than France, who, in every match, dominates like the oppositions are mere spectators. I don't know about you but I have seen many people in many places cheer against Argentina, they really do not like them or want them to win. I can understand it for many reasons. There are also good reasons not to want France or Spain to win as you say. It would be nice to see Norway win this, they do deserve it and Halaand has been really great this time! He is the kind of player that we want to see, who plays football like a real man and does not go down and cry after even the slightest touch by someone else. That part of football has really been terrible in recent years, and Hallaand is very different he does not care. He is big, strong and he tries to recover as fast as possible and continue and not hope for a foul by playing a victim.

France is more likely to win the world cup because they have shown that they are in need of it can't you see? I have watched several matches from different countries and I must say that France has a different pattern of playing than every other countries. First I thought England would perfom much more better than France because they have a lot of key players but I was wrong even though they have been wining which they also Drew against Ghana, but Thier performance is not quite impressive that's from my own view point I could be wrong. But if France does not win the world cup then I guess England would.
