No season some Bitcoin investors don't regret or smile for the decision that favour them or not favour them. That 2006 was a big Season for those that know how this Bitcoin investment work for holders and investors because some where expecting double income from their investment while some where expecting low price before they will buy more of BTC to have opportunity to massive profits in the future, which some investors wish came to reality but some regret for the losses they experienced in that year, because that was not their wish.
This story of someone who dreamt of Bitcoin in 2006 would have made more sense if more details were given in terms of the follow:
  • The name of the person
  • If he was able to recognise his dreamt asset was Bitcoin when it was created
  • What they did in 2009/2010 onward in terms of investing in Bitcoin
  • If he still held unto his Bitcoin till now

I believe if the answers to the above were satisfactory,  such person would have been widely celebrated today as the man who dreamt about Bitcoin.

I know that person's name to exactly the same extent that he knew the keyword "Bitcoin"   Smiley

But when he found Bitcoin?
It was highly unlikely for someone who wasn't a computer enthusiast to stumble upon Bitcoin in 2009–2010. The mainstream media did not mention this keyword ("Bitcoin") at all during its first two years. Not a single word about Bitcoin!
However, the 2006 Bitcoin investor differs in that he consciously and consistently searched for the asset of his dream. Therefore the probability that he is RED OX (2009) or GREEN TIGER (2010) is millionfold in comparison with the average population.
Though, most probably he is YELLOW RABBIT (2011) or BLUE DRAGON (2012). Bitcoin’s third year (2011) differed significantly from its first years, as BTC made headlines in 2011—partly due to Silk Road—and a number of remarkably influential prophets emerged, championing Bitcoin in every conceivable way: "You’ll get rich with Bitcoin!" Therefore just 2011 was most probably the year when the 2006 Bitcoin investor encountered the real Bitcoin. His average BTC buying price was somewhere around 1-10 USD and he probably bought about 10-100k BTC.

Ok, may-be I have went already too far with my speculations...  Tongue
The most honest answer is that I don't know.

One thing, however, is certain: being able to respond to an opportunity, to be RED OX, BLUE DRAGON or even PEIGE RAT is excellent—it is far better than being a "man of yesterday." Yet the best position of all is to be the demand for the opportunity—to be its co-creator. Bitcoin was created not only by Satoshi but also by the Bitcoin investor(s) from 2006.
