Its funny how most responses could turn out the opposite way. Spain made it to the final already after eliminating France without stress, something no one could imagine. Now the next game England vs Argentina might take the same turn, with Argentina eliminating England and advancing to the final.

Spain has faced the toughest teams on their race to the World Cup final unlike Argentina but football is unpredictable and anything could happen. Argentina could lift the World Cup for the second time in a row, who knows?

Spain deserved to win considering that they were the better side. In the first half, France was totally a shadow of themselves. It was after they had conceded two goals that they began to mount pressure on the Spanish side. The game was won in the midfield as Rodri, Fabián Ruiz, and Dani Olmo were in control. The French duo of Adrien Rabiot and Aurélien Tchouaméni were outclassed. I was expecting coach Didier Deschamps to come up with some changes, like bringing in N'Golo Kante, but he was left out on the bench.

I am personally rooting for Argentina, because they are the closest team I cam identify myself with, as a Latin American I am. But there is a lot of people here who believes Argentina got some special treatment in order to achieve to qualify for the semi-finals.

Don't mind them , they are so delusional . When it involves Argentina , they take it as rigged but in every other match it's fine.  I'm  not even concerned about it because I'm wondering  if they are even watching the matches or just watching reels . I've already made up my mind about it, and regarding this, I'd say yes. A Spain vs. England match would be much more satisfying because the favorites would be gone, and we'd have a fairer game. Even if the final score doesn't matter, it would be a fair final. Against Argentina, the Spanish team would be playing against 13 players, as I said, with the 11 plus Infantino plus the referee. So, most likely, Argentina will win again because that's how the higher-ups want it. Why? I don't know. If you ask an Argentinian, they'll obviously say no. It's understandable. It's not going against the Argentinian people, but it is going against the system of the Argentinian national team plus Messi, without including Real Madrid, because then they say it's the Madrid fans who are against Argentina.

Absolutely terrible and should I say unexpectedly bad performance by France. It seems that the cup has managed to create yet another surprise for its viewers, but at least this time it was not accomplished by referee aid. France was just terrible in the game and Spain took advantage with that, making the victory quite easy. I do hope then for an European finale, because Argentina does not deserve to continue -- the amount of favorable decisions hat they have gotten is insane, it is as close to cheating as possible in the public space.

Based on the betting odds before the semifinals, France were the favorites among the four remaining teams. Since Spain beat them, I think Spain will now be considered the favorite in the final.

I talked about this the other day that a friend of mine was telling me that Spain will defeat France in the semi finals, I didn't believe him honestly and to my surprise, it happened just as he predicted it would, he said France wasn't going to score any goals against Spain and that Spain will beat France by nothing less then two goals, and indeed, Spain beat France with two for which France were not able to retaliate even if it's with one goal.

Will I say that your friend is more of a prophet that can say something and it comes to pass exactly the way he said it  because that was actually a perfect one from him. However, gamble is much filled of surprises, want you didn't expect is exactly what you will get as the outcome. The Spanish team surprised everyone with a good and aggressive performance. This is not something that every gambler can accept. Where everyone called the French team as the winner but they performed like this, it makes them question how they performed so badly. Good luck with that, buddy. Argentina are the defending champions, and they have shown a strong fighting spirit. They were down 0–2 against Egypt but made a huge comeback to win 3–2. That shows they will keep fighting until the end, especially because they have the pride of being the defending champions to protect.

Against England, Argentina are priced at around 3.00 odds on the site I checked, which makes them the underdog. If those odds are correct, I think they may be worth taking a small shot on.

France, who were initially highly expected to qualify, have now been eliminated. Spain didn't spring a surprise, but in head to head matches, Spain has always easily defeated France. And today, perhaps people are starting to side with England after Spain's victory over France, hoping for a surprise to bring England good fortune. FIFA is now becoming a shadow of itself and no longer what it stands for anymore. I would not be surprised to see FIFA take sides with any of the team's just to favour them to cling to the trophy after all they are the decision makers and can do whatever they want and how they want it as it was obviously clear since the world cup began. As you have said,  the team's to meet finals could do more of defense than attacking just to prevent conceiving any goal's early match.

And they are under investigation, because the corruption is already very evident. I hate fixed matches, I hate that everything boils down to that because for me there's no football there. What can our children see? Our children who are preparing to represent our countries in football, what can we tell them? Majority Picking France and England for final

We have all watched the quarter-finals, France has lost, now there is only one choice left between Argentina or England, which is essentially Spain which is not touched on in the topic of this country entering the final, which is extraordinary.

My hunch is that the 2026 World Cup final this time will be between Spain vs. England, isn't such a situation more interesting for football fans.

Whatever the result, we will see in a moment, between Argentina vs. England, maybe this world cup will set a new record, with a neater arrangement to give the world cup, France is no longer attractive.
