I don't agree.
There are ways to escape inflation, even if you make your money with a bread and butter job you can escape it.
Only if you don't become active you are victim to outer circunstancies..
How exactly do you mean with this? Inflation per definition is not that can be escaped, so even if you went into something like Bitcoin fully you are still affected by inflation because the prices of everything that you need are rising all the time. If you mean something else like earning more than inflation, then that is possible but any kind of passive income story has its own risk. It is not like for example now you rent out a house or apartment and there are no issues are you are earning enough forever. This is the case when you have high inflation even in the best countries which is the case these days, it is an endless fight for making enough money for the future.

Inflation destroys everything. Living 3-5% anual inflation is easy, and that is not the problem. The problem are higher inflation rates over decades.
I grew up in country with 80-100% inflation per month. That is crazy, and economy is destroyed. Nobody knows how much anything costs, sometimes a person gets a good job and it becomes bad quite quickly and might become good again.
While I emphasize with your situation and understand the extremity of your example, I would not say that living with 5% annual inflation is easy. Easy relative to your case? Yeah that is for sure, but it is not that easy overall. I remember a long time ago you could feed a whole family for a month with $200 in the developed world, and in those years in the less developed one it must have been even less. In 2 decades or so the cost has increased 5 times or more, there are differences depending on where people are. Even in the last few years the cost has easily increased by 50%, it does not matter what official inflation data lies are given. If you track your grocery spending historically and there are no big changes in where you live or what you buy, you can get better data yourself that will be more accurate. Inflation is a huge problem, and is a source of many issues that we have these days.
