Most of this airdrops are fake and has no records on crypto community. Someone introduced air drop on telegram and includes a fake link where the air drop (atom) will be mined,  since is in a group I was patient enough to see the outcome. Then finally it was drop midnight at about 2 a.m and it was huge but when we start navigating to mine what you've it requested gas fill and token code that's when I realized is fake just like most shit coins that never rise after burning 🔥 or lunching its turns dead coins for ever. Can't this fake coins or airdrop be scrab out of the system?

It can't. There will always be scam airdrop, and it's your responsibility to filtering it. It's also the reason to always double check the link before participate in anything. Doing copy paste, then put it on the search bar to know whether it's legit or not is important.

There are so many scammer these days are targeting your wallet even by launching the fake airdrop. So as an airdrop participant, you have responsibility to the project you will be participating with.

Airdrop has become one of many ways for scammer to misled people and scam them out of their money and airdrop actually has become pretty rare these days, always be alert.
More than that, nobody is handing out free airdrop easily at the point it isn't worth anymore. You better off trading or doing anything that could generate real profit than hoping for an airdrop.

Amidst the good news about the freedom developers enjoy in the crypto industry, there is also bad news. Those developers can create fake projects solely for their own gain. None of that can be stopped, that is why in this industry we're familiar with these 2 sentences:

- Do Your Own Research (DYOR)
- Do With Your Own Risk (DWYOR)

In other words, it's entirely up to the user whether or not to become a victim of a fake project.

Never mind the ones like you mentioned above that are already listed on the stock exchange, we have to choose and choose if we want to buy. They are the ones who are able to impoverish us overnight if we are lured in and even worse if we go all in.

That's definitely not possible, and it's a fungus. In the Metamask wallet, especially on the Bep20 network, quite a lot of them appear without us realizing it, entering without confirmation.

In the past, people didn't think much of gas fees as a red flag when they're demanded but now they do. I paid for such in the past and I got some of the coins airdropped to me. Sadly, most of them turned nothing. In today's reality, I won't do such. In fact, I stopped chasing airdrops two years ago or so. It's a waste of my previous time and resources.

What comes to mind with this question of yours is the inevitability of good and evil in man's life. Whether we like it or not, both must exist. Fake will always be there. That's the only way to know original/genuine. In as much as there's money to be made in this industry, scammers will continue to flood it.

The era of genuine airdrop rewards is truly gone so don't put your hope in earning guaranteed reward when farming for Airdrops because scammers have infiltrated the airdrop system and that is why many of them are a waste of time. But some people never learn they will keep hunting for airdrops and would do everything they're told and at the end of the day there won't be any meaningful rewards instead they will be scammed. I don't think that anybody can stop scam in airdrop same way nobody can stop scammings online and offline, what you have to do is be informed to avoid being scammed, try to protect yourself as much as possible. The rate of online scams and hacks is getting out of hand so any projects that promises you rewards or quick profits should be viewed with skepticism.

Whether it's fake or real, nothing can really stop it. Even if you have regulations, the essence of crypto is you can create your own.

Well, there are definitely things like this and they wouldn't be existing if it wasn't scammers.
