I can't add my own money to every tournament, we'd just go into the red, but this way the whole pool is made by the players.
As the old saying goes: You need to spend money to earn money. Platform, marketing, prize pools, and other stuff... How did you imagine getting your platform off the ground?
And it's about competition... why would anyone play here when other platforms have GTD games, freerolls, and more people on cash tables?
Still looking for growth partners 🤝
The offer stands: a boosted 25% revenue share on every player you bring, ongoing for as long as they play. No upfront cost, you earn as the platform grows.
You are looking for "growth partners" for some time... We all saw those threads. I'm sure people checked your site, saw your player base, coding, and everything else.
Hope you'll give it a go anyway.
If I deposit a few dollars and play this one tournament, can you tell me what would keep me on the site after that?
Fair questions.
I'm putting in what I can. Most of the budget went into building the platform, and marketing is mostly my own work for now, not paid ads. I'm also looking for partners to grow it with, that's what the 25% offer is for.
You're right about competition. Getting a table of 6 together isn't the hard part, the freeroll had 15 players. What I don't have yet is a steady crowd at any hour, and GTD games. More people play durak than poker right now (poker only appeared in September), so that takes time.
To grow it I'm doing everything I can on my side: we already ran a free freeroll, the first buy-in tournament has no fee at all, and for the next ones I may add some of my own money to the prize pool to make it more interesting for players.
There are plenty of pluses too: tables from 5 USDT, 5% rake and no rake without a flop, Hold'em, Omaha and Short Deck, decks you can verify yourself, no KYC, network fees of a few cents, a daily reward for playing and a weekly tournament. There's also a referral program: 10% of the rake from every game your invited friends play, no cap and no expiry.
If you deposit a few dollars and try it, tell me honestly what would make you stay or leave. That's what I need to hear most.
