Hmm that's how Telegram is full of scams, I myself often receive vague spam messages from someone who blue tick offers casino games with their affiliate links, there are also those who send out Casino phishing links.
All kinds of crypto scams are there, the main thing is not to be tempted by unclear profits, especially if you just sit back and ask to pay this is definitely a fraudulent trick they do.
There was a time when I used Telegram a lot, but gradually Telegram has become a source of annoyance for me, and one reason I would like to highlight here is the regular messaging of scammers, sometimes they will message me as a client, sometimes as an ambassador of a gambling site. Then they will ask you to deposit money on a phishing link and after making the deposit, they will disappear.
In my case, I have never fallen into their trap, but after blocking one, they start sending messages to another the next day. So now I have even disabled Telegram notifications on my phone.
One just needs to be extra careful and vigilant on telegram platform because scammers are very much active there. Since it supports anonymous identify, one can hide behind the mask to do whatever they feel like and go their way.
Since the inception of the telegram platform, there has been lot's of reported scam cases with people losing funds to scammers who lured them onto investing in projects and things they never thought of. Some of them come with gambling formats just ask you have said which I can attest that I too have had the experience in the past. But we can avoid such if we get information and be updated with happenings around the industry as that would keep us safe from their nefarious activities.
