Bitcoin is now a valuable asset that whomever buys it will secure his private keys with his life because that's his future investment. It's impossible for the whole bitcoin holders to lose their private keys or not to have an inheritance plan for their bitcoin investment. As bitcoin becomes popular, investors becomes careful not to involve themselves in any act that will lead to lost of private keys.

This digital currency has come a long way already. We can say, with more than a decade of its existence, it has penetrated the mainstream financial market.

There are 2^160 P2PKH addresses out there newer address types are higher, the entire Universe would've died long before bitcoin's private keys become nearly all lost.
If you are concerned about the BTC lost, just remember that BTC have Satoshi unit and 1 BTC = 100,000,000 satoshi. When 1 BTC equal to tens of million dollars and effective supply drastically lower than right now, we can always use satoshi unit.

It is awareness to continue the journey to our children and teach them so they can understand better and also use it for them. Bitcoin right now or even other crypto wallet is become well known so I dont think so that most of them will lose their private keys its like they are giving away free money and we know if ended up lossing your private keys the same with your bitcoin too and its now become like other vanish bitcoin that no use.

I would like to start by quoting what Satoshi wrote on a cryptography forum in 2010 and I quote, ' lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth a slightly bit more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.'

In support to your claims of using multi-sig plan in case of death, there's also the dead man's switch and collaborative custody that helps pass on a dead Bitcoin holders coins to someone else, but it must be setup and properly planned.

In reality, what we all have here are just pure speculations. No one knows what will the future of bitcoin in the next generation, or will it still be accessible when that time comes. But I don't find any valid reason why bitcoin won't reach the next generation, except that the government will always find bitcoin a threat to their centralized fiat.

But losing most of the private keys? I don't think that describes how people these days are doing to their private keys. People are more knowledgeable and experienced in the market today, and they are fully aware how valuable bitcoin is, so losing their private keys will turn as the biggest mistake once in their life, because lost private keys means lost bitcoin forever.

It will last beyond this generation that's for sure. Last bitcoin mined will be in 2140, that's 113 year to go and few months. If bitcoin is able to keep its position as a top asset, it will be around for a long time.
bitcoin itself was created with longevity in mind and the lost bitcoin will only increase bitcoin's value as Satoshi stated.

What matters more right now is to cultivate the adoption of bitcoin so that there will be more on chain activity and more bitcoin adoption which means better value for the limited bitcoin.

Yes in my opinion bitcoin gonna last forever for the next next next generation because lot of people been using it, but it and other. and now lot of companies also join the hype so I do believe bitcoin gonna last for the next generation.

A single Bitcoin contains 100 million Satoshis. If the global liquid supply shrinks down to just a handful of available Bitcoins due to generational loss, the market will simply re-price the remaining Satoshis to be worth astronomical amounts of purchasing power. The network doesn't care if it's processing 10 million coins or 10 coins; it only cares about the ledger's balance symmetry.

I believe incidents of losing private keys are becoming less common nowadays. Bitcoin isn't anymore an unknown internet currency worth cents. The majority of people can't even afford a whole Bitcoin anymore. In which case, private keys these days are more protected--both in the sense that it's well-hidden and in the sense that it won't be lost.

Nobody knows my private keys or where I hide it, but if I die today, I'm confident a family member will find it however long it may take.

You know things comes and go, there were times physical coin was used for payment, untill it got to paper money then to mobile transfer in digit. Would Bitcoin be transformed into another thing in the next generation to come.

Anyway, from your explanation, yes, Bitcoin will last beyond, not everyone be careless about their assets, those who got theirs misplaced and avoid showing their loved ones before death lost it, so many had learnt from this mistake and corrected them. It can't fade away because of this.

All keys can not be lost. Don't even imagine it. 

Approximately, over three millions bitcoin is reported to have been lost permanently. Many of these was on the earlier days of Bitcoin when it value was insignificant and people treated it as value-less assets.

People are now learning on how to secure their wallet keys to avoid losing them as it used to be in the past. Incidents of lost bitcoin nowadays is largely due to hack or scam and this means the Bitcoin is accessible but the ownership changed unlike the ones that lost permanently due to lost keys. So, yes bitcoin would last beyond this our generation and the next but it's possible there would be a fewer coins with higher value.

Believe me, as soon as the bitcoin price reaches its highs again, we will hear new stories about people stealing other people's bitcoins or trying to recover their lost ones. Because bitcoin is digital gold, and once it captures a person's mind, it will never make them forget about it.
And that's why there are more and more cryptans.  And with the new generations, which are updated not once every 30 years, but once every 10 years, there will be many times more crypto enthusiasts.
