I don't think small investor category if your capital fund for investing $1000 but too high expectation to earn much profitable up to 100% until 200% during investment in bitcoin, need longer time and large patience waiting for bitcoin possibility raise up to $128k based on current price of bitcoin around $64k.
My strategy during small capital $1000 trade for short term only in bitcoin and selling for few percent after bitcoin raise up, its worth to earn profit around 10% to 20% weekly keep accumulate until your capital increase up to $5000 to $10k than you hold for long term and have target profit earn 100%. Its really difficult for right now looking pattern of bitcoin price not really stable yet keep on the up trend moment.

It all depends on what you consider as profit, because making a profit from Bitcoin is not by investing a little amount, if you put a little amount in bitcoin when the price increases to 200% you can't make enough profit unless you are not expecting something big in return of your investment. but I'm sure you would wants to get a good return on your investment that is the more reason why you need to put in more effort in accumulating bitcoin, because the higher your capital that's the higher the profit will become. Many people think that since Bitcoin is a volatile asset that if they invest 100$ and HODL for Long term investment maybe 4-5 years that they will be in a bigger profit in the future not knowing that the stash of bitcoin they have in Thier portfolio will determine how much profit they will get in the future.
The topic actually mentions good profit and not just profit. Anyone knows that you can make profits even if you invest $10 because even if you make $1, it is still profit. However, the question is whether someone can make good profit from small investments or not, and this question actually makes us ask another question, which is that whether the small investment is done only once or it could be done multiple times over the course of a few years. If a small investment is just done once and then just the same amount is held for years, then it's obvious that one cannot make good profits from that because you can't expect to make $5000 from a $100 investment even if you hold for a decade. However, if one can make multiple small investments over time and also keep taking profits and reinvesting the money, then it is possible for the investor to get good profits after some time.

Yes you said very right we should invest our money slowly slowly in Bitcoin or specially we invest money when the market move in down side . I mean on which price you invest money in Bitcoin after that market move towards down so you should buy Bitcoin from down side .Here many people make mistake that when the market go down they become panic and sell the Bitcoin . Only those people earn money from Bitcoin who hold them for a long time ..
It's easier said then done to buy Bitcoin when market is down and sell when market goes high. Right now the market is down and it's down since past many weeks but if you look around or read posts here then majority are discussing the possibility of Bitcoin price going up. There are not much discussion going on about how to accumulate Bitcoin during this bearish season. Having said that people who have strong nerves to buy Bitcoin now are the one who will enjoy the upcoming bull season rest will only regret when price goes up.

I have been thinking lately about how investing in bitcoin is actually a great idea but also it can be really hard to make profit off bitcoin if you're a small Investor Imagine this: If bitcoin is at $64k and me as a small investor bought with $1k, for me to make 100% profit bitcoin will have to hit $128k, that is still feasible But if I'm hoping to make a 200% profit on my investment bitcoin price will have to get to $256k, how achievable is that ? And if it's achievable how long is it going to take
Which brings me back to my question Can small investors actually make good profit with bitcoin?
Or are there other ways to make money with bitcoin as a small investor rather than just buy and hold?
It is all a question of relativity. How much money is "good profit" and how much money do you consider a person needs to have to be a "small investor". Because a small investor does not stay small unless he is not very good at investing. Money breeds money. 200% profit ? If we see Bitcoin go to 120K then that should be a good start. But Bitcoin just went through a bearish dump and is still trying to recover. So whe? I would say not anytime soon.

So your definition of good profit is to quadruple your bitcoin investment, in that case it is very much feasible and it is even likely to happen before 2030 if the price growth follows the same trend path as the previous cycle.
There are ways you can invest your bitcoin to get more bitcoin which all are comes with risk factor of losing your 100% holding, I wouldn't recommend those investments with bitcoin, rather you can simply hold and just accumulate more bitcoin over the period of time to increase the potential returns in the long run.
Making x4 returns before 2030 is not impossible, but it will not be easy. You need knowledge and a suitable buying and selling strategy. You aren't going to make x4 return simply by buying and holding, and doing nothing. Bitcoin is currently trading around $60k, so to get a x4 return, price would have to reach around $240k, and I do not think Bitcoin will easily reach that level in the next cycle. However, I agree that there is no better and more reliable way to make returns than accumulating and holding for the long term. Holding requires no knowledge, just need that risk tolerance towards the capital so the holder won't be forced to trade them before the goal price has reached. The current ATH was like $126 if I am not wrong so all it requires just 2x of current ATH and that is pretty much the trend for the last couple of cycles, so the price will reach and the user just need to hold.

Following other ways aside from holding as a small investor can be very dangerous for you, it is better to just stick to holding Bitcoin till you make profits that you have in mind to achieve (Target). As a small investor it is possible to make good profit from Bitcoin if you are consistent with DCA strategy and you are patient enough to allow your investment grow to a substantial amount.

Or are there other ways to make money with bitcoin as a small investor rather than just buy and hold?
There are other ways that you can make money, but they are very risky. My advise is that you should just hold your coins. It is easy, not time demanding and the profit is guaranteed than other means. Bitcoin is not at its early stage anymore which makes its price not volatile as it was before. Judging by what op is saying, I think no matter the amount of money one uses either $1k, $10k, or even $100k, bitcoin will still have to get to twice its price to be able to achieve a 100% of the investment capital and 4 times of the price to get to 200% expect I'm not calculating right. I believe one of the major reason why people drop out of the market is over expectations and impatience because for a true holder, one shouldn't be focused on calculating profits but rather be focused on how to accumulate more and hold more because the more they keep expecting bitcoin to perform at their own pace, the more disappointed they would be because the market is a very volatile one and almost unpredictable.

What other ways you refer to? If it is a good way, I don't think it is no problem following the way. However, we must ensure that the way is suitable with our investment style. Sure, we shouldn't doubt with Bitcoin investment. We can wait for few years to reach the target for the profits. As long as the target is realistic, no doubt that it must be reached in few years. DCA is a nice way for accumulating Bitcoin. Small investors can buy gradually through this approach. If they keep doing this for years, they also can have big number of Bitcoin as well in some years. I also apply this way because I also have limited funds for accumulating Bitcoin.

There are many other ways to earn money from Bitcoin, but holding Bitcoin is the best plan. If you hold Bitcoin for the long term, then the certainty of your profit increases a lot, so if you invest in Bitcoin and hold it for the long term, the risk will be much lower. And the more Bitcoin you are able to hold for the long term, the more profit you will be able to take advantage of, and during this time you will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to buy Bitcoin numerous times. If you have money, you can invest in Bitcoin, but it is best to use discretionary income to invest in Bitcoin.

There are other ways that you can make money, but they are very risky. My advise is that you should just hold your coins. It is easy, not time demanding and the profit is guaranteed than other means. Bitcoin is not at its early stage anymore which makes its price not volatile as it was before. W.Buffett: "Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing" In finance, the real danger lies not in acquiring assets that are currently out of favor, but in acting blindly, without a clear understanding of the rules, fundamental values and potential outcomes. In reality, small investors actually have a significant advantage in crypto thanks to liquidity (we can sell at higher prices and buy at lower ones (due to the small size of our orders). Op did not ask about shitcoins, even though you want to gravitate towards either talking about shitcoins or putting bitcoin in the same category. Perhaps you don't know the difference between bitcoin and shitcoins? From personal experience, small investors have turned $1,000 into a few thousand. It happens and it is real. What happens far more often is someone turning that same $1,000 into -$5,000. The market does not care about your starting capital. It cares about whether you know what you are doing when things move against you. The question was never whether small investors can make good profit with Bitcoin. They can and they have. The question is what happens after the first good trade convinces someone they have figured it out. That is usually where the real losses begin.
If we are referring to bitcoin, then your math makes little to no sense, @BitBrainers. If you invest $1k and you do not use leverage, then the most that you can lose is $1k - which is one of the reasons that bitcoin remains such a great asymmetric bet for guys who do not fuck around with leverage. In other words, the most that normal people can lose is 100% of what they invest into bitcoin, while at the same time there are a variety of upside possibilities... and sure some of the possibilities are greater than others, also depending on the timeline, whether we are looking at 2x, 5x, 10x, 100x or greater numbers. Of course many of us recognize and appreciate that historically bitcoin had facilitated a lot of guys to make quite stupendous returns, and the longer that they had been invested into bitcoin, then the better the odds that they got good returns as long as they largely errored on the side of accumulating and holding and not fucking around with trading and/or shitcoins and/or leverage. Any newbie could have reasonable questions in terms of bitcoin's future potentialities in terms of profits and even in terms of its ability to outperform other possible places that they could put their time, energy and value. Those can be allocation choices, and surely we know that there are no guarantees of profits, even if we might recognize bitcoin as the soundest money (and asset) that has ever existed, we still might want to consider our allocation level, even if we might start by lump summing into bitcoin with $1k, then thereafter we might consider if we want to continue to put value into bitcoin and for how long? If we might choose to invest $50 per week, then after 1 year we would have had invested an additional $2,600 and after 10 years we would have had invested $26k. After 10 years? Wow. What might be the question about the $27k that we might have had chosen to invest? Is the $27k worth more than if we had kept it in dollars or some other investment? In actual dollar values, we might be lucky if the the dollar is still worth 33% the amount that it is now, which would make the $27k only be worth around $9k - but our expected bitcoin performance is not ONLY offsetting the dollar's debasement is it when bitcoin is likely around 1,000x or more better than gold, so we might consider whether bitcoin will potentially out perform gold, and if so, by how much?

1) Self-Custody is a right. Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

The goal is for your profit to keep growing as time goes on right?so they’re about no need comparing yourself to other big investors in the market. If you want to become a big investor then you have to start as a small investor first, that’s the beauty of growth. You might start big and still lose interest in the journey so the issue is not all about starting big but it’s about being consistent with your investment accumulation.Bitcoin investment isn’t a competition, that you have to become bothered about how be like one of those big investors in town,if it was a competition alot of persons would have quit and find some other peaceful investment, but bitcoin investment has nothing to do with competition except you want to be in a competition with other big investors, that alone has made a lot of competitive investors go an extra mile like borrowing money to build their portfolio faster.
I agree to what you’ve said Fiasem20, as someone with small income that have the intention to invest in Bitcoin, it’s possible for you to make profit with Bitcoin. As long as you’re able to sort out your discretionary funds and there’s a determination to invest in Bitcoin with a long term perspective, Bitcoin has potential of rewarding you in the long run. Being able to sort your discretionary funds is one thing and your choices of allocation to your investment, emergency fund and discretionary consumption is another thing contributing to the growth of your investment. Most importantly consistency should be prioritized in Bitcoin accumulation if you want to end up with a good portfolio.

I once wondered how to profit from BTC with a small amount of capital, even though its price had risen compared to the past However, it's important to remember that buying 1 BTC isn't easy for some people. However, if you have a steady income, you can certainly own a lot of BTC using the DCA technique, and of course, buy it using discretionary income. Over time, you'll have a lot of BTC, and depending on your discretionary income, you'll certainly have a lot of BTC. So, I don't think you should give up just because you have a small amount of capital. You can certainly accumulate BTC using the dca technique, and, of course, with a long-term investment goal in mind
In my opinion, you can make money from btc through trading, but the risks are very high. However, I believe long-term investment in btc has the potential to generate good returns

Yes you are right as we see back Bitcoin was very crash in Corona and some people assume that crypto market will finish now but on the other hand who understand the market very well they buy the Bitcoin from the down side . As the pressure of Corona ended then they earn very good profit as it is now a days market go down with his all time high . Many big investors are now buying Bitcoin slowly slowly on the other hand some people are not buying Bitcoin and they are waiting for the price go more down then they will buy them and if the Bitcoin move towards up then they will reamain repent .

Buy and hold is a different conversation entirely.

I think moving forward in small steps is a great approach. Choosing a DCA strategy and investing small amounts into bitcoin on a regular basis is something you can start at any time.As the historical price charts have shown, each new price peak has been higher than the previous one. I don't think it's worth trying to be too clever by waiting for the lowest possible price. It's better to invest gradually over time.I also think that now is a very good time to start, especially since you don't need a large amount of money to buy a fraction of a bitcoin.

I won't recommend any one to trade Bitcoin they shouldn't even of think of it because the risk in trading Bitcoin is very high and that is where they people get lost in Bitcoin, the best way is always to accumulate Bitcoin and hold it even if some of the those who trade and gain it at times can't be compared with what a long time Bitcoinner will gain.

My question is, if you are confident that you can make 10-20% every week and turn $1k into $10k through trading, that is a x10 return. Why don't you continue trading to turn $10k into $100k or even more? Why stop, switch to long term holding, and set a 100% profit target? Earning 10-20% per week sounds easy in theory, but I don't think it's easy in practice, regardless of the market conditions.

In my opinion, you can make money from btc through trading, but the risks are very high. However, I believe long-term investment in btc has the potential to generate good returns
Life is a choice, while some choose to be patient and watch their investment grow gradually, some want to own Bitcoin quickly in a more risky way but everyone would give account of their account. What you said is a fact, trading risk with Bitcoin is very high and people should prioritize having patience with Bitcoin as an investment than chasing quick profits with it. I'm not against people who choose to trade but I'll always support and encourage holders to keep up with being patient cause accumulating gradually for long is better and makes volatility less worrisome to holders compared to how it makes traders emotional.

For an investor that wants less risk but good return the idea should not be trading BTC rather the focus should be about long term investment. You can make fast profit from trading if you are lucky but the probability of staying in profit is not guaranteed but it you choose long term and maintain consistency for at least 10 years there's no way you won't realize the profit you would have lost in trading. For those who thinks they are professionals in trading they can go ahead and trade but in my personal opinion and recommendation I would suggest that investors should choose long term over trading or short term investment.

Both methods are in use and that is okay, but staying alive rates speak for themselves. We have noticed that more than 80% of retail traders lose money, not because they are stupid, but because they are trading against computer programs and full time traders. Long term holding has much simpler success rule, Bitcoin needs to be worth more in 5-10 years than today. With the use trend that is much more likely call than guessing the market every day. However, there are those who are truly fit for trading, both in terms of their skills and personality. Problem is everyone thinks they are in that small group until they are not.
