Hi,

I wanted a clean, clear way to manage and visualize my own Bitcoin wealth.

I made it strictly for myself to get a better overview of my holdings, but I figured others might have the exact same need. I’m not here to sell anything, and I don't care about convincing anyone to use it.

Because security and privacy are everything when tracking your wealth, the project is completely open-source and verifiable. You can look at the code, see exactly how it handles data, and verify everything for yourself. It's a ledger hardware wallet version but easily can set it up for an other device.

If it’s useful to your own setup, great. If you audit the code and have any technical feedback, I’m happy to chat.

Cheers.

Why did you remove the link and deleted the repository from Github?

I saw the original post (there was a link) but haven't thoroughly checked the website's links yet.
But don't PM it to me if you decided to make it private.

I checked the link from your archived post.
In short: you're suggesting to lock Bitcoin for a certain amount of time. That's risky if you make a mistake:
This case comes to mind: the guy made a mistake, and locked his 0.5BTC for 125 years. That topic is a good start for what you want (and the OP is archived here).

You should consider locking the thread since you already removed the link to your work.

Your tool is not just a tracker, it's a locked vault. This is not ideal for many reasons. Circumstances change regularly, you may regret for wrong settings. One thing among many that makes bitcoin valuable is accessibility at all times but your tool remove that.

This is not to discourage you or look down on your tool. It's just my opinion.
