Given how Spain played in the final, it’s safe to say they deserved this title without a doubt. The fact that Spain had 20 shots on goal, 12 of which were on target, while Argentina had zero shots on target over the entire 120 minutes shows that Spain was a far superior team. It’s strange, though, that many people doubted this before the final, expecting Argentina to be the favorite.

I also never expected Spain to have play in such an outstanding performance, the proof to the whole world that they deserve taking the cup warm and that was what actually happened, there are 10 few weeks definitely be sure of those that win took it by merit, I wonder had it been Argentina that won, they would have been a lot of rumors on the social media about the match being one-sided in favor of Argentina.
Ever since Argentina beat Egypt in a very controversial match, with some referee decisions that seemed to help them move forward if Argentina had won the final the rumors would probably get even worse on social media, like they had an easy way to the title. But looking at the final itself, they did not really deserve to win because the stats clearly show Spain was much stronger.

‎This year must be very remarkable for Spain having won both the Men's and Women's World Cup titles simultaneously for the first time in football history.
‎I find it quite fascinating and I just had to ask, what makes the Spanish national teams setup so dominant across all levels?
I didn't watch women's world cup, but from what I observed in the world cup which has just finished is that Spain had a balanced rate of efficiency between defense and attack. They didn't have that mortal offensive power of France, and their defense wasn't the focus like of Paraguayan national team, for an example, but they were still quite efficient in winning games.

It makes me believe balance is the key in soccer. Some teams worry too much about defending themselves, while others worry too much about being efficiently offensively, but they forget that both are necessary along a championship in order to become victorious.

This is well deserving ,it's indeed a historical record which they have created ,a big congratulations to Spain ,this is there season to shine , imagine male and female team to win world cup, they where prepared and the universe also favor them ,they are also lucky ,and it's great achievement for them,it's there season they should enjoy it ,it's a great opportunity and accomplishment for them , sometime people cannot fully determine the outcome of football, congratulations to Spain .

This is as a result of their hard work hence nothing Spain is achieving right now is luck but they are receiving all the accolade because they prepare their self very well and they got rewarded for their hard work. You can see how well the federation is planning as it reflects in both the men and women teams winning the world cup and this reflects how good the Spain national team has been good. When money is being invested well into developing football then we will get a good result like this. Barcelona football club also has to be praised because they delivered the players that made it possible for Spain to be this dominant in the world football.
Does it mean Argentina wasn't prepared also? anyway football is a game, and there must be one winner despite the preparation,so if it's only hardwork that brought them this far too it's also fine, every winner deserve to win , because getting to that milestone wasn't a day job ,even to the point of both male and female team to win ,so let everyone opinion wins .

‎I find it quite fascinating and I just had to ask, what makes the Spanish national teams setup so dominant across all levels?
I personally think that in the 2026 world cup football match yesterday, team unity is very important for success and success in becoming world cup champions.

I see that certain countries' football teams have no unity, in matches they are selfish, arrogant, want to win by themselves, view their teammates as rubbish, want to look great and so on, players like that who are destroyed and lose will end up going home.

Spain, I saw they were united, the team worked together from the start to the end of the match, they know that success in the World Cup match, is the victory of the Spanish people, not the victory of their team, They as sons of Spain have the right to give the best to their society based on their skills, the Spanish team does not want to stand out more, is not selfish, there is no intimidation of fellow teams, so that they can take them to the final and succeed in winning the 2026 world cup.

Argentina victory over Egypt in the Round of 16 of the World Cup was criticized in many ways and I was lucky enough to watch that match. Argentina won because of the biased decisions of the referee. But Egypt was not a strong team to play in the final either, but the victory was stolen from them. Despite our criticism, Argentina was lucky because they reached the final even though most of the opponents were weak. I am not just saying this for criticism, it actually happened.

The final match for Argentina was a match that did not meet expectations and was disappointing because Spain showed such an impressive game that they deserved to win. Surprisingly, there was no chance of the referee being biased in the match.

Argentina were one of the major beneficiaries of umpiring bias. But Argentina vs Egypt was not the only occasion during the 2026 FIFA World Cup that it happened. There were numerous other examples, and each and every time the lower ranked team was at the receiving end. But the tournament is over now, and no one is going to remember these things in the long term. Despite the bias, Argentina failed to retain their trophy. They lost out to a very young Spanish side (who had one of the lowest proportion of immigrant origin players in UEFA). BTW, what was the need for Messi to participate in this edition? He could have retired after the 2022 win.
