Come on man, why would you plan to have a very boring experience in a whole season by betting on only Arsenal to win all their matches, it's too rigid for me. Would you also bet blindly if you see they have lesser chances on winning?

Gambling will still be fun if you risk a less significant amount, every season is not always the same, your favorite team could end up underperforming the way you might have expect them to perform and that could cause you losing the huge amount which you said you will be playing with. I know that way, you might be more careful with your bets. So you would only bet on teams that you actually monitor and have a chance of winning in the long run. 
Would you only bet on just one team? Or maybe you could try the top teams from each major league that have a higher chance of winning. Bets like that could be considered long-term bets, maybe half a season or a full season.

You are not the first person to do that and people have been doing it t place bet though you have a good knowledge to analyze the teams before betting but that will not give you a guarantee win. You can still loss flat and you can see what Argentina was playing in the recently concluded World Cup. They can come from behind after they have received some goals down and still win the match and that can happen to any team. Therefore don't solonmly depends on that strateg.
