Anyone else running a home mining setup?
I built a custom enclosure with tuned airflow and noise control.
Curious how others are managing heat + noise at home.
Hello miners,
SoloBoost has officially received a full UI facelift. The goal was to keep the same solo-miner spirit while making the interface cleaner, faster, and easier to use.
Highlights:
- Updated header with rotating miner jokes
- Faster server latency display
- Cleaner coin selection layout
- Improved real-time stats for miners and pools
- Better mobile layout
- Still zero fees, still solo-only
SoloBoost is still proudly typed on a ThinkPad T61 and held together with more duct tape than CSS, but now it looks a lot better.
If you want to check out the new interface:
https://www.soloboost.usFeedback is welcome. Thanks to everyone who has been solo mining with us.
SoloBoost Update:
For anyone who still reads ANN threads — pool has found 23 DigiByte blocks already.
Yes, it works. Yes, it pays. Yes, it’s soloboost.
If you want a shot at full DGB blocks instead of splitting crumbs, point your miner at:

Calling all deadbeat miners — boy do we have a pool for you.
It’s the Deadbeat SoloBoost Pool at SoloBoost.us.
Come on you glorious deadbeats, wake up and throw some of that deadbeat hashrate our way.
Good day.
How does payout work?
SoloBoost uses a proportional solo-mining payout system. When a block is found, the reward is distributed between all miners who submitted valid shares during the round. The block finder receives a payout, but the largest portion goes to the miner who contributed the most total work (shares) during that round.
This means:
The miner who solves the block is paid, but does not automatically receive the largest share.
Rewards are split based on each miner's share contribution during the round.
Higher hashrate miners typically earn a larger portion because they submit more shares.
The pool fee is deducted before payouts are distributed.
Payouts are processed automatically every 10 minutes once the block becomes mature. No manual action is required.
What is the Finder Bonus?
The Finder Bonus is the reward given to the miner who submits the winning share that solves the block. However, in SoloBoost, the finder does not automatically receive the largest portion of the block reward. MiningCore's SoloBoost payout system distributes rewards based on total work contributed during the round, not just the winning share.
SoloBoost uses a proportional solo-mining payout system. This means:
The block finder always receives a payout for submitting the winning share.
The largest payout goes to the miner who contributed the most total shares during the round.
Other miners who submitted valid shares also receive a portion of the reward.
Rewards are split proportionally based on each miner's submitted work.
The pool fee is deducted before payouts are distributed.
This system ensures fairness: the finder is rewarded for the lucky winning share, while miners who contributed more work during the round receive a larger portion of the block reward. Small miners like Bitaxe devices can still earn payouts when they contribute shares, even if they do not find the block.
Attention DigiByte cockroaches: emerge from the shadows and bring your hashrate to SoloBoost.us.
This pool was typed on a ThinkPad T61 — it’s basically immortal, and so is your love for DGB.
SoloBoost won’t burn you, zap you, or spray you.
It just wants to shovel DigiByte into your sad, empty wallet.
Come feed the machine.
Alright you hash‑hoarding cowards — pull a few terahashes off your mega‑pools and point them at stratum+tcp://miners.soloboost.us:3335.
You’re not gonna break anything. You’re not gonna get scammed. You might even get lucky.
SoloBoost is alive, blocks are dropping, payouts are clean, and the Bitaxe gang already proved it works.
So stop hiding behind your bloated corporate pools and throw some hash at the little guy.
Do it because I said so.
Have a good day. and thank you to the mod who fixed the post for me love ya all

There are tears in your wallet because it’s missing DigiByte. Lucky for you, SoloBoost can fix that. Give that poor wallet what it’s starving for: stratum+tcp://miners.soloboost.us:3335 (soloboost) .

SoloBoost Update: Pool digibyte-soloboost just found block candidate 23970134 — that makes 3 today.
Small pool, big energy. More blocks = more payouts = more miners joining the fun.
