I could remember getting addicted to porn at young age, it affected me to adulthood to the extent I can't stay for some hours without going to the porn site. I struggle before I could stop and emagine I didn't have that courage then my childhood addiction would have hunt me to this adulthood. I would have said that government shouldn't have baned them because of some reason but I guess that is the only solution. But my fearis that are this kid not going to used their parent or elder siblings phone to access the internet?

That's the problem because there are a lot of things children would be addicted to if they allowed them on the social media, purn is one of the common things social media would lure them to do and that's why some places you would be seeing 14 years old girl pregnant when they are supposed to be in high school, so actually in every decision that would help us as a parents who wouldn't want our children to go astray we would always give our support because is a development that would assist everybody so that they wouldn't be in a situation of fighting out any addiction and wrong behaviors from their children because of social media.

I thinking getting addicted to p*rn is the easy one, engaging in social media at a very young age is very detrimental to children upbringing. One thing about parenting is, I'd you don't do it, social media will take them, teach them abd pass out those Ideology of doing things without repercussions. Substance abuse is another effect because seeing contents where it feels like taking drugs or drinking at an early age is the trend, one might think it's cool to do it until it becomes an addiction

You can teach your children to learn about Bitcoin and crypto, and also let them understand the essence of privacy, while the random use of social media should be discouraged because the uncensored content they will come across on social media is not suitable for their age.

This is happening in France, and if we could recall how there have been increasing crime rates being traced to crypto-related attacks and kidnappings in diverse attempts, France is taking advanced steps to ensure that the citizens are safe from the assault of the public exposures that is made through what they do online unknowingly to them; it could be an entry point for an attack.

Children below the age of 15 are now banned from using social media in France; this is to avoid further exposure that leads to vulnerability to what the opened to, and this access has been restricted to children who unknowingly reveal some information or are exposed to certain things online.

As children are growing up they need to be corrected if they did anything wrong. I won't say that social media is bad. Because it has advantages and disadvantages, and it can easily impact young children negatively. Social media is full of rumours monger, misinformation, and other things that could mislead a child. Social media is the best place to have beneficial knowledge and experience concerning certain things. Those countries must have their reasons for that sudden restrictions. Under 15 children are still young and need proper guidance, so parents must be extra careful about how they handle their lives and cases.

Parents are just one part of the process to protect children from unwanted online content. It is a collective mission with many collaborators like schools and civil society, with the partnership of the most important collaborator, the state. This decision in France that we are about to discuss looks so impressive but in my opinion it will solve nothing and can be considered as a run away from real responsabilities:
- Children at the age of 15 and under know very well how to bypass the ban and how to use social media anonymously. So why not apply a set rules to control the platforms themselves about what they allow to publish in their interfaces.
- Why not applying the same restrictions for sites showing pornographic content? Children shouln't be allowed to watch other types of content that is displayed everywhere not just in social media. Example reality shows in TV.
- Whom to blame if a children being caught using social media? The social media platforms or his parents? Or the government itself for not being seriously responsible?
