Beer is interesting though for promoting BTC in mass. It’s a kinda viral mechanics for that cause we think about bitcoin like a technology, payment system, value, defence from inflation or something else but what about promotion.

So Cyber sport was promoting using such mechanics, a lot of events with different prices including virtual game assets. Why can we do that?

I like the idea of a Bitcoin beer.

We could hold a beer brewing competition but that would probably only interest the brewers, if we have any here. Hmm...

I am into Bitcoin mining myself and I have always get rid of the heat because I am using a very small room, I had to get some ventilator pipe and shroud to pass the heat away, still it's not something that is health hazardous.

When there is too much cold weather I intentionally lose the shroud to heat my room up, to me this is another usefulness of Bitcoin mining heat, I'm impressed to see people this smart making use of the heats for beer.

If I have the power I would celebrate this normally, just imagine if this happened around 2012 it would have been something to stamp on what Bitcoin heat can be used for.

Likely Bitcoin mining industry is too separating with the other industries and they don't have good connections as well as partnership or collaborations with each other. When they don't think about that, the reuse of heat is limited practically.

There are limits from waste heat of Bitcoin mining and like barriers to reusue, repurpose of waste heat for other things.

There could be other potential uses of the heat generated from mining and not only for brewing beers, other establishments that require a lot of hot water and heating for instance hotels, swimming pools, apartment buildings, uses in agriculture for large scale drying of agricultural produces could also become recycle users of this heated water from heat generated from mining. Those are all good uses, but if maybe this heat can be recycled back into electricity, that would have been a really good cycle.

I was also confused at first and that's why I have to read the source and understand what exactly is happening.

There are headliners only when there's more of the context of what the topic and news is all about that we have to know before relying on it.

Overall, it's a good one and it's a well spent generation of the miner's heat as its waste into a good cause for these beers.

Read the article, and this is actually nice. Bitcoin mining uses excessive energy, and being able to recycle or use the heat that Bitcoin mining produces are such a great idea. Although Bitcoin mining consumption remains the same, it's still great that you can use the heat in the process of producing another products. They were able to save cost in the brewery.

If such thing works well, I guess other industry or productions can also make use of it to save energy even more. There are a lot of factories or manufacturing that also require uses of heat. If they can also implement such thing like this, it'll be better.

Sorry to say this but have you worked anywhere in the world where you are fortunate enough to know the capacity of grid power that money printing machines uses?

I doubt that is the case, I mean miners will surely use more power than a money printing machine, and also printing machines don't work every time, they print money only when they need to.

I'm not in support of these centralised pricks and their idea of modern day slavery, bitcoin all the way, but when confusion arises it's better to clear it out.

It's interesting, while some people claim that mining is power consuming, smart people decided to take advantage of the power generated from mining to create something cool. Bitcoin mining has saved them the cost of generating or paying for power supply to heat up their distilled water for beer production, what a smart move.

Welp! I’m not even gonna be suprised if by some years from now we start to see new inventions that can work as both a house heater and a bitcoin miner ; wouldn’t that be cool?

Just think about it like this, you’re already spending money on electricity to create heat that you can use it to warm up your home right ? Why not just use that same energy to do something extra for yourself?.
Now instead of you having only a heater that only warms your room, you get to have one that keeps you comfortable while also still stacking a few sats in the background.

Of course, this idea won’t make sense to some people, and surely there might be practical limitations, but it’s still definitely an interesting idea.

I dont work with the Federal Reserve Board to know the budget since they're secretive bout their service, which is another sign that they're technically stealing indirectly from the people because there's no point in them not making things public.
Having said that, according to my research, the total monetary value of electricity spent on mining Bitcoin globally in 2025 is estimated at $10.22 billion while the US Federal Reserve board alone allocated $1.04 billion for its total 2025 currency operating budget, and if i am right we have atleast 100 countries in the world with own native currency if we calculate amount spend on the electricity they all use in printing new fiat currency it will surpass the above $10.22 billion.
Mind you, we have miners that use green energy.
