Apart from surviving for over 17 years now,Bitcoin survived without needing anyone's permission, that's the part that I find to be mysterious about it. Despite all the attacks to stop it and all the changes that's happened all these years, Bitcoin network has continued to produce blocks.
For the next phase, I don't think Bitcoin has anything to prove again, it's about more people using Bitcoin for the main purposes it was invented. I also look forward to a day Bitcoin will be commonly used like the internet of today.
What a mind-blowing investment Bitcoin is to its community, in the short term of saying, Bitcoin has survived for over 17 years…the question is does it even have a CEO to shut it down?, or even a server to raid it down?, or a board meeting to cancel it, the government has only just tried to ban it, which, to date the banks are still seeing it as an dead investment, and which every 10s fucking minutes another block keep raining down, what a smart move this idea most have been by the creator of Bitcoin.
Talking about proof, what proof does it need to show, when it has over 800,000+ blocks…and apart from all it even has cooler stuff to show,
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/That’s what makes it different from everything else. It’s not a company. It’s not a country. It’s just code incentives people running it because they want to.
- It's already a Lightning for instant fast payments…
- Countries have adopted it as legal tender and have made it their currency to, in some part of the world..
- People using it to send money across borders without asking a bank which is very easy and sweet…
