If anyone ask you to create account on a platform and use the platform for investment, just block the person, because you know thats a scammer. When you start putting your money, they might not tamper with it, they going to try and build trust, immediately you deposit big amount of money, you might not just hear from them again.

The very big red flag is when someone wavt to access your wallet or even ask for your seed phrase, someone can actually learn without giving control over your own funds. What most of this scammers mostly do is that they allow you to withdraw for the first time just to build up trust before convincing to deposit much. So as a beginner you shouldn’t just judge any platform first from your first experience. Always do research and also do yourself well by keeping your wallet information very safe and private.

This must be a big lesson for us. We must always remember that our private information can't be shared to anyone. Moreover it is wallet data, it must be kept secretly. It just makes no sense that creating wallets together. Even if we have a mentor, we mustn't share any private information to the mentor.

I only trust the person who I meet in daily life around my home. But I never try to share any private information to him/her. I also become more careful to the person who often says something too sweet like claiming or showing such huge profits from certain profits. Real investors/traders will never do it because he knows it just leads to bad impacts.

It's easy isn't it. When someone want to invade your personal space including your finance by forcing you to do a business with them, they're scammers.
You will not get scammed if you never allowed anybody else to take control of your money in the first place or let them force you into doing business with them.
If there is random ass stranger trying to convince you to do what they want, they're manipulators and scammers, I'd block them with a heartbeat.

Buy and sell on official exchanges; this helps avoid scams. Since there are no funds on the exchange initially, I need to deposit money into my account before making a purchase. Why rely on a third party to handle transactions when I can do it myself?
No matter how little someone knows, the most fundamental rule is this: it is never legitimate for another party to ask for your wallet's seed phrase or keywords during a transaction.

Personally sharing receipt online to try to convince anyone is already a Red flag.

This is a very big red flag for me, if you want to know those fake people you will know them through this attitude, on Facebook and on X those fake people that usually want to attract people that will pay them for tutorials usually use this method, to be honest they don't even know how to trade and they don't even care about bitcoin investment, they use this tactics of showing or posting fake receipt online to scam people.
I don't even think people will still be falling for them anymore.

All types of scam succeed because of the ignorance of the victim, so as a newbie that is just coming into the crypto community, it's very important to do your own research first on anything you want to do before making your final decision. Don't just decide to do anything someone you met online told you without doing a research on it, because you will easily fall victim when you are ignorant.

When you give someone access to your funds all because you want them to do it for you in this crypto community, their is a high chance that you may be scammed, so trusting less will save you more from scam, because sometimes those that falls victims to this are just lazy to do their own research by themselves, they want everyone to do it for them, without knowing that as people are different in appearance, that is how their motive is also different.

With bitcoin, not your keys, not your coins. Now if someone demands your private seed phrase because for this or that reason, do not hesitate to call him an impostor, a fake, trusted friend. No one deserves to know our own private keys but only our own selves, so if he breaks that, obviously he's into something, to steal what you have in your wallet.

The beginners can be excused as they aren't familiar with the market yet but the veterans are the ones that have no excuse since they have been in the market for a long time and should have experience. Veterans getting scammed is a joke especially when the scams are from minor things, their experience should play a major part in this scenario and when it doesn't then it means there wasn't any experience to learn from. What I would add is that we do not have to rely on the identity/trading history of a particular person. A scammer may have a professional profile. Screenshots testimonials and even years of seemingly extensive experience. The best test is if their claims can be substantiated elsewhere. When a person suggests a wallet or investment service or recommends an exchange, go to the official one and not the one that the person has provided. If they say that they sent Bitcoin. Check on a public block explorer to confirm that the transaction actually happened, don't take their word for it. Most importantly, don't allow a mentor or trader to create or store your seed phrase. Don't trust until you have verified.
