Thoughts on potential altseason?

Another project I'd like to have is trade.xyz if they launch a token.

I'm curious about the trade.xyz project and find the project cool and might be worth investing.

The only thing bugging me is, if trade.xyz is built on hyperliquid engine and runs on hyperliquid blockchain, wouldn't it be better to invest into hyperliquid directly instead? even though trade.xyz owns stocks, indexes, even commodities, the liquidity is still on hyperliquid, wouldn't hyperliquid a better investment for the long term?

trade.xyz doesn't have a token launched yet.  But if they do launch one, better get some because it could pump right off the bat as soon as it gets listed in HL spot market.  It's the most sought after project next to Hyperliquid rn.

And for alts...  Instead, why not start going back to the basics and invest long term in projects that will value to you and your portfolio.  You guys already know what project I'm gonna suggest...

But really it's the only thing that makes sense out there that you can buy and just hold in your wallet for years.  Well it's that and BTC imho.  And maybe a little XMR too. 

Hype has been a very good project, but that can be seen with the high trading volume on the exchange. I think it has the highest trading volume among the exchanges that said to be decentralized that is offering perpetual trading. Although, I do not see the exchange to be decentralized, but it has huge volume.

I do not believe in the long term success of hype, but I know that in the coming bull run, even if there is or there is no altseason, the coin will still increase more in price, but there may be problem if another platform showed and complete with it.or taking from is shares like Aster and Lite.

You can see what happened to UNI as good as the coin is. More competition and later the coin did not get to all-time high in the last bull market.

The trading volume of Hyperliquid is the highest amount the three and it is significantly higher. But it is followed by Asterdesk which is some billions dollar higher than the trading volume on Lighter.

We know that indeed Hyperlliquid is very good, but we should also not scoff at projects that are in the same field as "fraud" it is less ethical in this competitive world in my opinion, we must judge objectively in looking at the project.

Hyperliquid is a very good project that people have turned to and buy. But what I do not understand about your post is how is Hyperliquid not ethical and how it is the same field as fraud? Because it does it requires registration?

How about those ones like HTX that require KYC, but government sanctioned it? Also not requiring KYC does not mean it can not be sanctioned or taken down.

Maybe you misunderstood what I said about "ethical" here this is what I mean for someone who takes a project (Aster) because it becomes a rival project that he likes the most (Hype), I don't know maybe my word structure is easy to misunderstand.

Hyperlliquid will not be destroyed, moreover, Trump is already in the mood to withdraw it to the US, as long as everything goes well and there are no penalties that can harm, it will make Hyperliquid better, it's just that adjustments to regulations will definitely exist, we know he always has that way of playing, but to limit ourselves do not expect more of something so as not to be disappointed.

Lighter is a decent option for long-term investing, since the current price of its token(LIT) is quite low. But there’s no point in comparing it to Hyperliquid at this stage, since there’s too big a gap between these exchanges. Potentially, I think Lighter could compete with Aster during alt season, but not with Hyperliquid.

It might be a bit premature, but I think we can already say that the alt season has either begun or is showing early signs of starting. After all, following BTC's sharp rally, the charts for many altcoins have become more active, even those that seemed hopeless over the past year.

We need Bitcoin dominance to fall down to 56% at least and it is still up at 59%.

I think that time is over. Although I am somewhat hopeful that an altseason will come, I would not expect it to be like the past. While no one knows whether Bitcoin will follow the previous cycle, it is impossible to say whether altcoins will perform like the past.

Don't expect as much as you used to. Expecting 30-50x returns would be too much, besides you can't tell which coin will do well. Personally I don't expect that much, I'll try to be satisfied with 4-5x.

Don't expect as much as you used to. Expecting 30-50x returns would be too much, besides you can't tell which coin will do well. Personally I don't expect that much, I'll try to be satisfied with 4-5x.

ZEC has pumped over 20x in less than a year so its definitely possible for alts to still 20-50x , i just think it will be limited number of alts and not like it was before 2022 when most alts pumped a lot.

As long as you have a diverse portfolio, then chances are high you will hit a 10x somewhere at least and that will be enough to make it all worth it as Bitcoin now has limited returns being around $75-80k that is why my portfolio is all altcoins now.

We may not have a general alt season, innthe future like the way we see alts pumped in 2017 based on records, but the possibility of alt season is not totally out written, and what you should know is that we may not see alot of coins following such trends when it comes because of their lack of momentum amd liquidity drive them into the alts season when it comes, that brings us to what you said, we will see a selective altcoins seasons sometimes we see even a single coins making pumped in price, just like ZEC did 20x on two years, that you mentioned.

Yes, the market isn't in a situation right now where just any altcoin is being pumped. Whales and market manipulators are acting selectively.
Nevertheless, even this year, aside from ZEC, quite a few altcoins have pumped by x10-20 or more. The only problem is that, more often than not, these pumps are short-lived, and it's not easy to jump into these alts at the right time and then exit them successfully.

IMO, altcoins are already a part of the market and altss isn't gonna disappear completely. But instead of everything pumping together like before, future alts will probably be more about specific narrative or ecosystem. Money can rotate from one group to another depending on what's trending and what story the market is chasing.

So having more than one alt in your portfolio isnt bad idea. You still need to be selective tho, because money these day tends to flow into project that actually have something going on and clear use case.

There are still chances to find 10x, 20x or even 100x alts, but it probably won't be as easy as before, and not every alt is gonna have the same chance.
