Nope, I will not do it at all.
Now if they really force me to do it, then I'll let them sign through a waiver where if sh*t happens and I lost it all, I'm not the one to blame, and it's all their fault because they want me to do it. I'll let them sign, and we will go to the authorities to have some witnesses.

This is the last thing that I would want to do when it comes to trading. Trading other people's money is the one thing that I will not recommend anybody from doing it. We know how risky trading already is. Add the fact that you're trading using other people's money, and that alone adds pressure towards you as a trader, and because of that pressure that might affect your decision-making because there will be times where you will do forced trades just to recover your losses especially if you promised them to pay them either bi-weekly or monthly or whatever it is.

Of course, this can't be applied to the pro traders out there that are consistently profitable for years already. They could do it, but only a fool would do it because why will they use other people's money to trade if they're already profitable using their own money? Cheesy

I only got an offer to do it, not that I actually did it. At first, he was interested in trading, while I’m not really a serious trader either. Sharing a bit of knowledge and experience, or trading methods of course is fine. But being entrusted with money and asked to trade it, of course, I don’t dare. Even though he already said, if there’s a loss, I wouldn’t have to bear anything.

I have not yet maintained consistent success in trading, so there's no need why I would even agree to take someone's capital and trade for them when I'm not yet successful using my own capital. Even if I become consistently profitable in trading today, I don't think I would take such a risk.

I have received the offer before when I started trading. Back then, I was just using a demo account and did not have enough confidence to deposit my own money, but one guy saw that I was usually more profitable on the demo account than him, who had been losing on both his demo and real accounts, so he offered to deposit some money into my account so I could trade for him while we shared the profits. I didn't agree because if the money was lost, I would be the one to repay him.

Before a trader would agree to do this, there must have been some clear terms and conditions on how asset loss can be handled, and the trader could be someone who is experienced in trading and trusts their skills so much.

The bank gives out loans to those who need it.

This is no different from a unsecure, uncollateralized loan from friends who are investing in your ability to trade.

I personally cannot take that pressure on my shoulders and I would not take part in anything like this.

Maybe during the bull market people will make profit off this scheme, but bitcoin market is unpredictable and you are carrying the risk. I think this comes from the nature of humans to be able to find a scapegoat to blame their losses on - "that guy trades bad so I lost my money" in case/when they lose their money.

The banks do absolutely no such thing as give out loans to people that actually need them. The banks only give out loans to those that can pay them back and some extra. That is their entire business model. Why would they give out loans to easily as to just anyone who needs one? The entire scheme is to exploit people into giving them more than they loaned out in the first place.

Investing into something is a completely different matter.

However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.
I remembered reading a post on social media where someone was offering services for trading. They claimed they could generate a few percent profit in a month, and the payment would be based on a percentage of the profit earned. For me, that’s ridiculous, even though it might be possible. But if you don’t know them, of course it increases the risk of losing money.
If someone offered me to do that, I would tell them to just learn how to trade. Although there might also be wealthy people who pay a trader for their trading activities.

Then I told him, instead of you giving out your money for trading why not buy Bitcoin and hold since that is more safer than trading because I wouldn't want where you accused me of running away with your money maybe after I may have entered wrong trade.
This is perfect advice! If he insisted, I'm almost certainly sure that he would regret it, for that money would be lost. But investing in Bitcoin, even if it depreciates, over time, you would still edge back to gain zone.

I'd traded for people many years ago, and many times, and they weren't good experiences at all. That is big enough to even mount more pressure on you and make you emotional.

Bad idea, I wouldn't even give someone my funds to trade for me talk more of taking someone else funds to trade. It doesn't really matter how professional I have become but I won't risk taking this decision because I know this can either break me or turn me into a greedy trader. Giving someone a quarterly return puts you under some level of stress that decisions you take that originally wouldn't have been difficult will become a big mistake for you because you are trading under stress.

Those that give you capital to trade won't understand what you are going through as all they need are their returns as you promise so is better to gather your funds through crowdfunding or selling some of your property then raise enough capital to trade yourself instead of depending on others capital.

I know there are people that are experts at this but they are of the minority so you shouldn't be using them as example as the majority of those that decide to go in this direction will end up with a regret story and this might end their trading career.

It is what you learn well; that's what you can think of helping someone else with.

Ever since I started my Bitcoin journey, I have known trading as a difficult thing that I don't dare try to double my money with. That reason alone makes me not accept it as an offer or have a discussion relating to trading with any of my friends.

I like it that way, as my friends haven't given it as an opinion for me to trade for them because already they know it won't work, as I mostly tell them to invest in Bitcoin if they can, as they are having the opportunity to do that.

Someone with little or no knowledge about the market will most likely not understand you when you say "I got liquidated" so the problem isn't trading for someone but the pressure that comes with trading with someone else's capital.

Regardless of how good you are with trading, there are months you end up in the red zone. If that happens, how do you expect your friend or family member to understand your explanation?

Unless you are trading for someone who clearly understands the risks involved in crypto trading, please desist from trading for that friend or family member before the outcome ruins your relationship with the person.

I know someone who is actually quite skilled at trading when using his own capital. But when a friend entrusted him with additional capital on the condition of a profit sharing arrangement, what happened was that this person, who I knew was initially quite skilled at trading, actually became quite reckless in his trading. He even complained that he regretted accepting the offer of additional capital from that friend. Because, well, it seems this is also a matter of mindset.  Using your own capital doesn’t come with too much pressure. Whereas using additional capital from someone else clearly creates greater mental pressure because the trader has to strive to meet the expectations of the person who entrusted the capital. And, well, it didn’t end well. Fortunately, he realized early on that he couldn’t continue, and he returned the capital to his friend. I may never have been in that position myself, but I can understand that using someone else’s capital is clearly not a good idea at all. It’s better to use your own capital, even if it’s not very much, than to use someone else’s, even if it’s a large amount.

Trading for someone is complicated, due to the risk that's involve in it...in trading you're not sure of what will be outcome, if it will be positive or negative, that is why it's reasonable enough not to trade for someone...secondly, trading have similarities with gambling in terms of risk, you can open a trade now and within a period of time you lose all your capital, and it's applicable for someone who stake bet  in gambling with higher amount of funds and within hours or days it lose it all...their's no certainty of making profit in both..Your initial advice to him is acceptable by me, instead of given someone funds to trade for you, while can't the person purchase bitcoin and hold for awhile, and if he didn't panic to sell it's bitcoin, it will definitely make profits in future....

However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.
I had a friend who was very busy with trading when I was on the forum and used to talk big to me. However, he eventually learned to trade and started trading with real money. The funny thing is that he would start with $100 and easily turn it into $200 and in a matter of seconds he would lose that $200. Since I had a general idea about trading from the forum, I could easily understand his problem and advised him to stay away from trading, but he would never listen to it.

Since he is a very close friend of mine, it was my responsibility to protect him from this loss and it was also my responsibility to make him understand his mistake. So I gave him some money to trade and made a deal with him, he would triple the amount I gave him and give me half of the profit along with the capital. But if he lost all his money, he would have to give up trading forever. But the result was failure. After doubling his capital, he would lose control of himself and trade with all his money and lose it all at once. Finally, he was forced to quit trading after failing in this deal. Basically, making temporary profits in trading is not difficult, but maintaining that consistency is very difficult.

However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.

Here in my country, Mozambique, the laws prohibit anyone from trading for another person without a license and permission from the central bank of my country. It is permitted for each person to trade on their own account without needing a license and permission from the central bank. Now, speaking about the risks, It's important to always remind people about a few things:

Why do only 5% of traders win in crypto? The answer is not what you think.

source: https://www.binance.com/en/square/post/32156335310274

Taking money from other people to trade can end very badly, even if those other people are your relatives. They can still hate you a lot if they lose money. That's why I always advise people in my country to learn to trade on their own and operate independently. This is a case of suicide that happened 6 years ago involving trading. But in my country, it was last week that there was a suicide case involving trading. Before that case, a guy took money from many people with the promise that he would trade for them and the guy fled to another country. The case is in my country's court.

That isn't a problem but what keeps wondering is that, I have been around this forum for awhile now and I have been seeing how people do lose in trading, even to the point whereby it's advisable not to trade for anyone because you wouldn't know when you will lose the entire money completely.
The person is just taking unnecessary risk, why will you collect money from people to trade for them when you know you can lose the money which you collected, and it might end up causing problem for you. If you want to trade, then make sure you use your money, and you don’t have to collect other people’s money because you might end up losing it, and you won’t have choice than to refund those people their money.

If you want to trade and you don’t have much money with you, then trade with the little you have, and build your account, if you can’t build your wallet with the little you having, then even if you have big money in your wallet, then you might end up losing most of the money.

If you collect money, and you end up losing the money, those people that you collected the money from will think you scammed them, and it might cause problem for you. Instead of collecting money to trade for people, it’s better you teach them how to trade, and let them trade by themselves. If you are in need of money, then you can ask them to pay you so that you can teach them how to trade.

Trading for people that are inexperienced can be very risky and I would not advice any trader to do this, it is better you share signals with them and allow them to initiate or take the risks for themselves instead of handling or  managing their trading account because when it goes wrong they are going to blame you for their losses.

A lot of people do this as part of what gives them an extra source of income, they trade for others and in return get a percentage out of it but one down side of this is that when they end up doing this for multiple people it can be very dangerous because if they blow these trading accounts that would put them in a lot of debt.

I have never traded for anyone and I don't think I ever will, I can teach others that are willing to learn and share signals when necessary and allowing people to do it themselves gives them the opportunity to learn their way around the market.

Yes, I have had such a bitter experience in my life where a friend of mine is a little more experienced in trading than me. He occasionally trades and tells me his profit stories. After a while, he demands $100 from me that he will share fifty percent of the income he earns by trading with this $100. Although initially I liked the idea very much and I asked him to trade with $100. He started trading on Meme coin with this $100 and initially shared half of the profit with me several times. But the next thing was not good for me at all. After a few days, he lost fifty percent of my capital by losing in trading. I had given him a capital of $100 but after a few days he returned me $53 of capital. And he said that losses are a normal process in trading. At that time I accepted it very easily but I learned one thing that it is not wise to provide money to someone for trading.

Crypto trading is very difficult and very risky, if you can take your time to learn and study market analysis, it can me made easier for you because you can easily read and understand the market properly before you decide making trading decision to trade, but if you don’t have any idea about the market movements and charts, you will only be trading based on trial and error, and also based on news about crypto, be it bad or good.

However, all these factors cannot stop you from losing money to trading because you can make the right prediction and still get it wrong when the market suddenly crashes or suddenly pumps when you are expecting downward trend based on your analysis.

All I can say is that, for you to start trading, you need to be mentally stable and prepare because of the risk involved, you can lose money at any time and you can make profit at anytime; if you have understood and have planned yourself, you will not complain of trading.

No, I would never take someone's money for trading and give them half the profit or whatever the deal will be. Because it is not a good deal at all, a person giving you money could learn it and do it on their own. If you really want to help them, don't make them dependent on you, make them independent, so for that they have to learn and make their own money and loss.

It can also create problems in the relations you have with that person, so it's better to stick with your own capital.

Although I have given some trading advice to a few friends with the disclaimer that if they lose, I won't be blamed, most of the time they made good profit that even I have never made haha.

It's always better to trade for yourself alone if you want to trade than trading for someone else, it is even worse if you are not experienced or you are a newbie trader. I'm speaking form experience, i have attempted it once and i never want a second experience. One thing about this is, the profitability may not really be the problem but safeguarding that capital to always be available on request will be your biggest challenge some investors can accept that you did not make any profit and you are able to return their full capital back, but i doubt if most of them will be able to take you loosing their capital without them ever seeing a profit on the investment.

Guarding your capital or investors capital is one very difficult part of trading no one can explain better to you than when you get an experience. i will always advice that you do not trade for anyone, you can advise them to go into other investment opportunities where they will be able to monitor their investments in real time and get as much control as they want on it but never agree to trade for them, sometimes even agreeing to copy trade will be a mistake but if there is a very good agreement between you and the person, you can agree to them copying your trade if you must.

Trading for someone can be accompanied with so much pressure that will make it uneasy for you to properly trade, even when you may have a really good agreement with the person that was suppose to favour you, the moment you loose a cent of the persons money, you will most likely begin to loose it and you Psychology may not be stable enough to handle trading properly as expected of you, except you have built some really strong Psychology. In all Don't trade for anyone.

If you find a trader that is going full margin to the point of risking total liquidation of their capital... then that's a gambler and someone not worth trusting with your trades! And BTW, trading has its ups and downs like everyone preachs, and losses are very much part of the trading game regardless of how good you are!!

Otherwise trading is like approaching a girl, just because she said no doesn't mean your anwer will always be no, try a different girl or be persistent with trying your luck, you never know the answer will be different one day and thats how trading works  Cheesy

Perhaps,  as we were discussing one of our old time friend that he is willing to give me specific amount to trade for him that he would be satisfied with whatever returns be it weekly, monthly that he is ready. Then I told him, instead of you giving out your money for trading why not buy Bitcoin and hold since that is more safer than trading because I wouldn't want where you accused me of running away with your money maybe after I may have entered wrong trade.
Let this friend invest their time learning how to trade on their own instead of passing the pressure onto someone else, and a little tip keep business relationships away from family and friends because it always gets ugly at some point.

However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.
Problem people are sold dreams, and when things don't go as agreed you create new enemies,  and thats a life no one should sign up for !!
