Nah, I believe it’s the opposite.

These 5 to 10 people on your board represent the whole Pakistani community with farm account army. Same with other local board that has a lot of newly created user that farm merit using butt buddy merit transfer and sometimes involved merit source that operating behind the scene.

Some of them don’t join signature campaign to create a benefit of the doubt that they are not part of it. 

Have you considered that they might not even be Pakistani?

What I found both extremely strange was that not a single member of the local board posted in the threads related to the accounts that primarily use the Pakistan board. They were aware of what was going on yet none posted to express disappointment at what their fellow board users were doing. Not only that, some did post in the CryptoYar merit source application to support him.

Account farmers do not fade away, they use other accounts to enroll in campaigns. If you give over $2000 in prize funds to a puppeteer controlling several accounts and then later tag the accounts to render them useless, the account farmer will not fade away. On the contrary, the account farmer will do whatever it takes in order to try to win more prizes. I am sure there are more accounts in that farm, it is just about having the time to discover them and then tag them.

As for the rules for entering competitions, hopefully they will be looked at because there is already discussion taking place,

Of course, there is anger and frustration, but the problem is that right now you still don't know who's genuinely upset and who's another imposter.

Some of the findings genuinely shocked many of us, especially regarding users like ThemePen. I don't think many of us could ever have imagined him being part of such an account farm.

I 100% agree that there should be stricter participation rules for competitions such as the Pizza Contest, Pumpkin Carving Contest and other art-related contests.

If possible, participants should also be required to agree to clear terms and conditions before entering. The T&Cs should state that if serious manipulation, cheating or other violations are discovered, the participant can be disqualified and, if they have already won, required to return the prize.

That might not stop every cheater, but at least nobody could later say, "I didn't know that running half the contestants myself was against the rules." 😄

This might not be relevant anymore, but here is more evidence that ThemePen and CryptoYar were the same person. Similar to when ThemePen was caught re-applying to a campaign by quoting Rustam Meraj’s application, he made the same mistake with CryptoYar a few months later.

None of the farmed accounts that were tagged will be posting anything in their defence. They do not want to post as it occupies their time and they would prefer to simply concentrate on other accounts and hope they are not discovered. They do have campaign quotas to meet therefore they move forward and leave the tagged accounts in the past.

At least the community managed to put a stop to some of the accounts in that farm (including a merit source).

I'm going to explain what happened: they all went together to buy the plates and the pans for the pizza contest and then, while they were cooking all together in the same kitchen, by accident they mixed up their phones because they were all the same model and color, and by mistake each person was using somebody else's account because they all took part at the same signature campaign. It makes sense, doesn't it?
