One of the best pieces of feedback I've had since the campaign ended. I have taken down the ads, but I'm looking for ways to keep them from interfering again if I add a banner again.

That's too bad, especially if it already helped monetizing the site a bit.
Perhaps a different placement or size of the banner? Have you tried placing the ad slightly higher or lowering the brackets with the letters? Maybe the ad can even be positioned in the top right/left corner in a smaller size. Putting it in the footer decreases the visibility, so that wouldn't work.

If those ads in the site helps a lot, doing good experiment towards proper positioning or placement of the ads is definitely good to do. He can adjust the size of the banner or do some changes like adjust the size the content of the ads so he can still highlight the messaging on what he tries to promote without creating bigger changes or destroying his current layout.

But since his site is new, improving those matters or maybe the design of his site will help him bring lots of traffic then next to that is to gain advertisers.

Adding those creative twist, proper ads positioning and ideal sizes of the text will help him gain more good results.

In the Spanish board another user is building something similar to a crypto dictionary, among with other newly added features. You can see his work here and, who knows, perhaps you both can get good ideas out of each other.

Thanks for sending this, brother; it's good to know that some developers understand the need for a glossary for hundreds of terms in the crypto space. Of course, there is an AI, but I still believe that many users want a platform dedicated to crypto terms

If he has the means to sustain it, then why not? Every developer has their own approach in developing their platform and monetizing it, based on the cost and its sustainability.
