Too bad, I forgot to join the table for round 5 of this tournament, even though I already set a reminder to be able to play.
Unfortunately I did not realize it in time, so I could not join that round. Now there is only 1 round left, hope I do not miss it again this time.

ElChe, poor boy, lost his ticket and giant stack to Iv4n the Unstoppable
Hahaha, I'll blame it more on you than Iv4n. I had 450k and you were at around 60k. I had you up to the river when you hit a 6 outer for a straight, if I remember right. I could have eliminated you then and won the ticket, but I guess after that hand it all went downhill and Iv4n took advantage of it. Anyway, GG all, y'all deserved your positions!

What a crazy round it was though, well at least for me. Happy to have finished 3rd, of course I would have liked to win it, but I'm happy with how I played. Congrats to the winner... again! Now I'm freerolling the rest of the tourney, with the 3rd place prize paying for both the initial entrance fee and the final ticket. And yeah.. the bounties, I think I managed 5 or 6 today, so I'm up to 8 or 9, will have to double check now.. Although it's always fun to KO the opposition, one today was bitter sweet, sorry bro!

We had a great game! So many interesting hands and turns... Luckily, I won once again, and now I can only hope there's some luck left for the next games, especially for the grand finale.

To the poker professionals here. Grin

I had a strange hand or two consecutive hands when iv4n won a knockout and perhaps you can explain to me how this is technically possible. Here are the links for the two hands

Hand 1
Hand 2

and here are the screenshots

In the first hand mitchr is all in because of the ante. The blinds are 1000 and 2000 and I raise to 8000, ante is 125 and mitchr has 45 left, which is an all in for him, but mitchr can fold?

I don't understand how is this possible that it is not a showdown then? I don't understand it because I have never seen this before. In the hand right after he is again all in automatically because he can't cover the ante, but this time there will be a showdown. In the first hand he can't choose whether he wants to go against me or not, he can only survive by beating me on the board.

I have been playing poker for a very long time and now I don't understand whether this is a bug or a detail I didn't know about the game. Whenever a player is all in because he can't cover the blinds or the ante, it is not a choice to see cards or not.

Use my links for the hands and you can go through the hand to see what I mean. The one rule that has never been different is if you are all in, you could fold but lose instantly, or see the cards, but not fold and get the ante back.

Note: I didn't submit the knockout because iv4n got it next round then, but this is the first time I have ever seen this. It is no problem, but I wanted to bring it up.

My bad Royse.

In my electrum it was tagged like other thing since im receiving payments for my upcoming contest for the same ammount and i mistakenly saw it as a fee from a participant, thanks for clarify it.

Well know i have to try to win the last ticket for the grand final so i avoid the payment completly despite i already cover it by the wins and the K.O.

Is this the exact situation that happened on the game or was this discovered after you watch the replay? The replay could be abit buggy though

According to the hand log from hand 1, mitchr posted his ante of 125 so he should have chips left

This is hand log from hand 2, mitchr only had 45 chips left therefore it wasnt enough for full 125 ante hence it was automatically all in

Based on the hand logs alone, Im assuming mitchr should still had 45 chips left therefore he could fold his hands then automatically goes all in on the next hand due to not being able to post full ante so yeah its probably a visual bug or something on the hand replay unless its the exact situation that happened on the game as well

I lost all my hope for the ticket, pretty sure I wont get them on the 6th game so yeah either way Im spending $50 to get that

Thank you for the answer arallmuus, but I had a second look and it must be a state-transition bug. If you click on my link for hand 1, in the first frame you can see this. The logs must be wrong.

mitchr has 45 chips, this is undeniable. The middle is 0 because nobody was charged the ante yet. In the next frame, you see this.

Do you notice that it can't be 625? Grin The system must have a bug for inactive players when they get raised, can't pay the ante but are on auto-fold. There is no option for mitchr now but to see the cards. Everything else is not possible in poker. He is sitting at the button, this could as well be a part of the bug, but would have to be reproduced first.

I raise a player who is all in and he can fold, but fold what? Grin The ante is an obligation and is in the middle. He can fold in real, but that means his hand is dead and not that he gets any chips back. Or I don't know if you can really fold, you have to see the cards. And remember if mitchr wins, he can only get 45 from each player because his contribution was 45. The other chips go back to the players.

Since in the next hand it worked normally, I think the button position could be part of the whole buggy process.

Was this also the exact situation that happened on the game? The plausible explanation would be a bug and I also noticed on hand 1 replay, mitchr chip was -80 which should not be possible. It could be something to do with the pre folding action perhaps

Probably just a visual bug on the hand replay (?) no clue at all, unless this also happened on the game

@Dump3er I agree that it must be a bug, but we go with how it is: @iv4n got the knockout because that is what we truly know, he knocked him out. Good to know that this exists if it ever happens again. It is the first time I saw a bug like this.

Guys what is going on with your KO submissions? NINE submissions are missing!

Those who ranked 1st to 10th, a few players did not submit any knockouts, didn't you have any?

@el che:

@rbynxx, no KO as 4th?

I think you can still look into your hand history, I don't know if it really gets deleted after five days, but please submit them now.

I know man my bad! It's been a hectic couple of days for me both on and off the forum. The problem is I didn't save the hand numbers so I'll have to go back and manually search for them. I'll do my best to get started on that tonight.

As for rbynxx, I remember him commenting during the tournament right before he was knocked out that he didn't get any KO's, though we'll have to wait for him to confirm.

By the way, prize received, thanks boys!

Ok noted, I just wanted to make sure you don't miss the pokernow.com deadline when the hand history is deleted, but when they say it is saved for five days, I think it should be until Thursday. You should be good doing it tomorrow Wink

And it's quite fast, just click the first hand and then use arrow keys to go down down down and see when your chips go up a lot.

Why are you lying Mr.Magkaisa? xlays will be knocked out by me personally in hand 14 of round 6. I am sorry, but that is what will happen! Wink @xlays, you know it, too!

@el che you know what, if you can't find the time to go through your hands now, just download them. Open "Replay your played hands" like always and click "Load file" bottom left. You are good to go then, no need to stress out about it, but I don't want you to lose those KOs. I am fine if you submit them whenever you want (or the final calculations are actually done of course).

@el che, I am very sorry to inform you that I can't approve your submitted knockouts, because you missed the deadline. Good luck in the next round.

I advise everyone to never miss the deadline (which is random and I secretly decide when it actually is...) again in the future, not in round 6 and not in the Grand Final. Here is an explanation how to never miss the deadline again:

Any questions? Feel free to reach out.

Edit: I actually forgot it was you who knocked me out, lol!

Guilty as charged Your Honor! Though the defense respectfully asks the court to reconsider its verdict, as the defendant promises to never repeat the offense and vows to stay out of your way at the tables going forward.

P.S. Now you understand why I was delaying claiming those KOs! Hahaha.

I had trouble as well, but now I keep the knockout tab open... It makes things so much easier.

Looking forward to seeing you guys at the tables tomorrow... the last game before the break & grand finale. Maybe we should meet next week in an occasional poker game, just to stay in shape.  Cool

By the way, will there be knockouts in the grand finale? Maybe with a higher prize... we can chip in.
