This is one of the cleverest opt-in-to-subscribe campaigns I have seen; there is no button to close the widget, so I have no choice but to subscribe. Later, I found out that the login form will do the trick
It seems like you can bypass the signup using a made-up email address, as long as the syntax is valid. It would still redirect you to the broken landing page though.

As I said in my post, the map is reserved for subscribers. I mentioned that in my post out of honesty.
I went to my profile settings and unsubscribed from the newsletter, but somehow I'm still able to access the map. I guess you might want to fix these issues.

Thanks for pointing this out, that's genuinely useful. I'll take a look at both: the fake-email bypass landing on the broken page, and the map still being accessible after you unsubscribe. Appreciate it!
How is it possible that it's only for subscribers when unsubscribing can still land the person on the interactive map homepage? Is it because of an IP whitelist that can be manipulated? It is only possible if the script is a membership type, like a WordPress membership plugin.
But anyway, I'm sure the majority of your subscribers will not unsubscribe because you have good content and you even have referral rewards; this is clever marketing.
I'm looking forward to using this Beehiiv platform, the one that's powering your platform.

It would be cool to see if a country holds a fintech company/license that can house cryptocurrency for business entities.

This was something really hard to find when I was looking for options for my company (went with Kraken in the end).

I already track the licensing regime per country at a high level (whether there's a VASP/CASP framework, who the regulator is, whether custody is a licensed activity), so the raw material is half there. The missing piece is surfacing the business-facing angle you actually needed: can a company, not just an individual, get compliant custody there, and under what license. Let me look at how to add that as a dimension without turning each country page into a directory.

Out of curiosity, since you went through this for real, when you were comparing options, was it the licensing status that mattered most, or things like banking access and being able to actually open a corporate account?
