Vexta (VTX) is an independent, open-source, UTXO-based cryptocurrency secured by Proof of Work.
The project is built on proven Bitcoin-style blockchain architecture and is focused on transparent development, network security, public accessibility and long-term community growth.
VTX is the native asset of its own blockchain. It is not a token issued on another network.
The Vexta mainnet is live and supported by publicly available source code, Windows and Linux wallet software, an official Android wallet, a blockchain explorer, public nodes and public mining infrastructure.
A mandatory network upgrade will introduce
RandomX as a second proof-of-work algorithm alongside
SHA-256D at
block 8,099.
KEY FEATURES
• Independent blockchain — VTX is a native blockchain coin, not a token.
• Multi-algorithm Proof of Work — SHA-256D remains fully supported, with RandomX scheduled to activate as a second proof-of-work algorithm at block 8,099.
• Open-source development — the complete source code is publicly available on GitHub.
• UTXO architecture — transactions use the established unspent transaction output model.
• SegWit support — Segregated Witness is enabled on the Vexta network.
• Taproot support — Taproot functionality is available on the blockchain.
• Quantum-resistant security — post-quantum cryptographic protection has been active since block 6,000.
• Desktop wallets — official software is available for Windows and Linux.
• Android wallet — the official non-custodial Android wallet supports seed recovery, multiple deterministic addresses, QR scanning, transaction history and verified in-app updates.
• Multi-algorithm explorer — blocks, transactions, addresses and mining-algorithm data can be independently inspected.
• Public mining pool — SHA-256D mining is available through the official Vexta pool.
• Public node infrastructure — independent nodes can connect to and validate the network.
• Community participation — miners, node operators, users and developers can contribute.

MULTI-ALGORITHM NETWORK UPGRADEVexta Core v0.3.0 is now available.
Mandatory Network Upgrade.This release introduces
multi-algorithm mining, adding
RandomX as a second proof-of-work algorithm alongside the existing
SHA-256D algorithm.
The upgrade will activate at:
Block 8,099IMPORTANT FOR POOL OPERATORS AND NODE RUNNERSAll mining pool operators, public node operators, seed node operators, exchanges, explorers, and other infrastructure providers
MUST upgrade to Vexta Core v0.3.0 before block 8,099.
After block 8,099, older versions will not support the new multi-algorithm consensus rules and may potentially end up on an incompatible chain.
Multi-Algorithm parametersAlgorithms: SHA-256D + RandomX
Target block time: Approximately 10 minutes across the network
Difficulty: Independent for each algorithm
Chainwork: Shared and normalized between both algorithms
RandomX activation: Block 8,099
Required version: Vexta Core v0.3.0
SHA-256D remains fully supported. RandomX introduces an additional CPU-oriented mining path while both algorithms mine the same Vexta blockchain with the same transactions, addresses, block rewards and monetary rules.
The official Vexta nodes and block explorer have already been upgraded and are ready for activation.
Please upgrade as soon as possible and do not wait until block 8,099.

QUANTUM-RESISTANT NETWORKVexta has successfully activated
quantum-resistant cryptographic protection at
block 6,000.
The network now includes
post-quantum cryptographic security, strengthening Vexta's protection and long-term resilience against future cryptographic threats.
Activation: Block 6,000
Status: ACTIVEPost-Quantum Security: ENABLED

Available release packages include:
• Windows x86-64 portable package
• Linux x86-64 portable package
• Command-line node and wallet tools
• SHA-256 checksum files for release verification
Always download software from the official repository
and verify the provided SHA-256 checksum
before running it.

Always download the Android APK
from the official Vexta Project GitHub repository.
Before installation, verify the published SHA-256 checksum. Official Android releases must also be signed with the certificate fingerprint shown above.
The wallet includes a built-in update system. New releases are downloaded from the official GitHub Releases repository and verified against the published SHA-256 checksum before installation.
Never share the 12-word recovery phrase.
Anyone with access to the recovery phrase
has full control of the wallet.
BLOCKCHAIN EXPLORER
The official Vexta Explorer provides public access to blockchain and multi-algorithm mining information.
It supports searches for:
• Block heights
• Block hashes
• Transaction IDs
• Vexta addresses
• Transaction outputs and confirmation status
• Mining algorithm and algorithm-specific network data
OPEN VEXTA EXPLORER
MINING VEXTAVexta currently supports SHA-256D mining using compatible SHA-256 mining hardware.
At block 8,099, RandomX will activate as a second proof-of-work algorithm alongside SHA-256D. RandomX provides an additional CPU-oriented mining path.
Both algorithms will mine the same Vexta blockchain while maintaining independent mining difficulty and contributing normalized work to the shared chain.
The Vexta network is supported by multiple public mining pools
operated by independent pool operators.
Additional public mining pools may be added
as the Vexta ecosystem continues to grow.
