Texas losing 57 million in crypto scams is rough, but that's scammers using romance traps and fake investments, not crypto itself. Don't ban it. Regulate smarter and educate people to spot these scams. Go after the scammers, not the tool.

Exactly, banning the crypto ATM’s only addresses one part of a bigger problem.

The same people who fall for this crypto ATM scams can also still lose money through other forms like gift cards, bank transfers, fake investments or even traditional financial scams.
What this means is that the vulnerability of the people getting scammed comes from the scammer’s strategy and not the payment methods.

So they can ban crypto ATM’s all they like, it doesn’t still change the fact that there will always be scammers and there’s always gonna be people that will fall for those tactics unless they get sensitized and are taught to quickly recognize the pattern of these depraved scammers.
