NurseryPool — a home for emerging coins
We open pools for new chains, run them while there is interest, and retire them cleanly when there isn't.

Disclosure: I run NurseryPool. It is an independent third-party operator, not affiliated with any of the coins it hosts.

What NurseryPool is

A new chain launches almost every week. Most of them ship a wallet, a miner, and a single official pool — and nothing else. Anyone who wants to mine on day one either goes solo, or trusts the only pool there is.

NurseryPool exists to be the second option.

This is not a pool for one coin that might add others later. It is built the other way around: the pool is the product, the coins rotate through it. We stand up a pool for a young chain quickly, run it properly while there is a community behind it, and close it honestly when there isn't. Four coins are live today. Some of them will be gone in a year, and others will have taken their place.

What does not rotate is how the pool treats you.

What stays the same, whatever the coin

  • Paid by real work. Every share counts for its own difficulty, never as one unit. A fast machine and a slow one are credited for exactly what they contribute.
  • Isolated work. Every connection gets its own coinbase and its own nonce range. Two of your rigs never compute the same hashes — a mistake that quietly wastes half a farm's electricity on some pools.
  • Automatic vardiff, tuned per machine.
  • No registration, no account. Your wallet address is your username, and it shows up on the dashboard within a minute.
  • Real numbers only. Pool and network hashrate, block maturity, per-worker data, every payout with its txid. Nothing estimated, nothing rounded to look better.
  • Automatic payouts once a block matures and your balance passes the threshold.
  • Bilingual dashboards (EN/FR) and per-coin documentation.
  • Low fees: 1% on young coins, 2% on Monero.

How coins arrive

A coin gets a pool here when it has a working chain, a reachable network, and people actually mining it. Being new is not a disqualification — it is the whole point. We have opened a pool on launch day more than once.

Suggestions are welcome. If you are mining something young that has no third-party pool, say so in this thread.

How coins leave

A pool is retired when the hashrate and the community are gone, or when the project stops. That is not a switch we flip on you:

  • a pool is only closed once there are no miners left on it — nobody is ever cut off mid-round;
  • every remaining balance is settled in full before shutdown, ignoring the usual threshold;
  • notice is given in advance on the site and on Discord;
  • the dashboard stays up read-only for a while so you can check your history.

Nobody's coins are stranded because a chain went quiet. That is the difference between running a nursery and running a monument.

Live right now

Snapshot of today. The current list is always on the site.

Monero (XMR) · RandomX · 2% · backed by P2Pool Mini · threshold 0.003 XMR
Code:
./xmrig -o xmr.nurserypool.com:3355 -u YOUR_ADDRESS.rigname -p x --coin monero

Kadikama (KAD) · RandomX v2 · 1% · threshold 1 KAD
Code:
./kadikama-miner -a rx/kad -o kad.nurserypool.com:4455 -u YOUR_ADDRESS.rigname -p x

BrowserCoin (BRC) · Sandglass v3 · 1% · PPLNS · threshold 1 BRC
Code:
curl -fsSL https://brc.nurserypool.com/dl/install-brc-miner.sh | sh

Brisvia (BRVA) · RandomX · 1% · PPLNS · threshold 1 BRVA · TLS on both ports
Mainnet opens today, 1 August, at 15:00 UTC. The pool is already up: connect now and your miner will start on its own the moment the network opens.
Code:
curl -fsSL https://brva.nurserypool.com/dl/install-brva-miner.sh | sh
Native protocol: brva.nurserypool.com:6655 — Brisvia Desktop "Custom Pool", or the official CLI miner
XMRig: brva.nurserypool.com:6656 — algo rx/brva

The installers download the official miner for each coin, verify its SHA-256 before anything is installed, ask for your address and a name for the machine, then start mining. Everything lands in its own folder: one rm -rf removes it, a reboot has nothing to undo. Checksums are published next to each script, and you are encouraged to read the script before you run it.

An honest word

Three of the four coins above have no market, no listing and no price. Mining them is a bet on what they become, not an income. Mine what you can afford to see come to nothing.

That is also why this pool exists in the form it does: young chains are worth mining early, and they deserve better than a single point of failure.
