For Trump, he will obviously "optimize" as best he can. While it's true he can bypass laws, its even easier when there's no law at all.
The big business has been done already. TRUMP coin was sold, probably lots of crypto investments have been made by now.
Oh.... I wouldn't say
that
.
There are many, many more things he could to me a
lot more money than he's already made. He's pioneering completely new territory: nobody in the history of the USA has been able to do business with absolutely zero laws in their way. I suspect they haven't fully figured out how to make money in that kind of environment: it's not like there would be a class about that in business school.
it's not like there would be a class about that in business school.
Lol.

Not yet, not yet... Maybe Trump has plans to open his own business school!
My wording wasn't good, of course you are right that much more can be done. I was rather saying that big business has been done already in absolute terms, but it's true that there is much more potential.
One other move they already tried, and I immediately suspected it, was when the FIFA was trying to privatize their business. I knew that it must be somewhat related to Trump and then an article came out stating the obvious.
FIFA's move to privatize a new commercial subsidiary with the help of a Trump-linked venture capital firm is drawing scrutiny from the EU.
That would have been big for the Trump's and I am sure there were plans to increase their share over time, but the UEFA showed some strengths. I wonder if they really didn't expect resistance or if they jus gave it a shot despite bad chances.
As for the SEC vs. CFTC question from OP, there was talk that the CFTC is preferred because it is so much smaller and would be less harsh and effective, which is what businesses dealing bitcoin would prefer for obvious reasons. But is it really that simple? Wouldn't the CFTC just increase their staff when necessary?
