Pool is down for 5 minutes to install some namecoin daemon updates.
Back up now.

Edit: And down again, oops. Back up in 5 minutes. Website is down but mining server is active and accepting shares.

Edit 2: The fix being installed is for this namecoin issue. If you're running a namecoin daemon please make sure you follow the advice in that thread.

Edit 3: Pool is down for an unrelated issue - the datacenter where it is hosted has lost network connectivity. Awaiting confirmation that it is back online.

Edit 4: Networking issues is resolved - pool is coming back up shortly.

Edit 5: Pool is back up. Apologies for the combined issues there.

Edit 6: Note that the elevated hash rate of the pool is inaccurate due to the updating of the logged shares while parts of the pool was down. It'll correct over the hour.

Okay I was not able to withdraw my NMC so I guess it is not quite fixed yet.

I mine alt coins with https://simplemining.net...
I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

Can you withdraw now? Possibly the hot wallet for NMC was low. As part of the upgrade I had to create a new wallet and transfer funds to it.

I believe you have to set up what coins you want to mine when you first create your account and if you just leave the field blank than you don't mine them. If you ask nice I am sure mmpool would add in a few addresses for you, but as far as I know it can never be edited from the website.

mmpool do you plan to reactive a no-tor pool?

And Thanks you Philipma!  Wink

I am using non- tor I sent a pm and he gave me a non tor address. somewhere on this thread he mentions he can give you an address you can use.

something like

stratum+tcp://noDDOS.mmpool.org:3333      this is a fake one

I have been mining the fuck out of this pool and it is getting lonely.

I think I sent 11 btc into this block.

It would be nice to see 6 or 7 of us doing 30 or 50th each for a while.

@ mmpool  I sent you an email and a pm regarding UNO address.

11 btc is a nice chunk

I am throwing some hash at this pool and hope others will send some consistent hash at this very cool pool.

we have not yet passed the shares mark set above

And this block has cost me serious coin.

That was a long wait. Block 371724 found by 0dfd19ac earning them 0.09 BTC in transaction fees. The hot wallet is being topped up and the BTC should be available for withdraw when that's done.
