I'm seeing "connect null" message on nmc withdrawals, in different mmpool accounts.  Does anyone know what this is?

I see there is some nice hash put up today.
Interesting how this pool scores blocks in runs. 6 in January, 4 in may.  Feels like it's overdue for another run.

I get those nulls on and off.  If nmc goes high like 1 nmc it seems to work.

I am pushing hash right now(160th)  and someone else was pushing over 300th early today.

I have an hour to go.  so others could pop in and we could bust this mofo wide open.

since btc is trending up in trade value vs. old style money lots of people are getting out miners they turned off and turning them back on ,

maybe a few of you will consider pointing some hash to mm pool and try to hit a block ?

you can mine several coins at the same time !!!

i know some people think that if we all point hash at the same time we have a better chance of hitting a block, actually this is not accurate any more than say if you play a lottery type game once a day for many days or buy multiple tickets all on the same day

if the chances of getting a winning ticket are very small compared to the number of other tickets could exist from a math angle the results will average out to the same.

i will admit there is a kind of psychological feeling that makes it  seem like we have a better chance of hitting a block when we are all mining at once instead of if we take turns or randomly point and equal amount of hash power at the pool ....

Well  if we run 10th 10 days in a row or 100th for one day that is equal.

But If you were mining here when btc was 230 and 250 a coin and are say at 1btc 1.33

like the number 6 place miner below

6   953e50f0   1.33805227   0.13309900   4,436,628,255   0

If pays for him to toss .1 btc at 100th right now  Since most of his mining was done at the 230 dollar price and now the coins are worth 390.

So anyone with decent levels at this moment should boost a bit. Hoping to hit while coins are up in price. well above the 230 to 250 levels most of this round was at.

This is why I pushed hard hoping to hit at high dollar levels

is site down ?
No but the site has been under continuous DoS attack on the public merge mining port which makes it unstable. PM for a private mining address if you're not using one.

I have been using a private address provided by mm pool op works fine

Hello mm pool.
Would you kindly PM a private address to me so I can begin my adventure with as few intrusive distractions as possible.
Will wait for an addy before signing up.
Thanks!

The pool is pretty good I mine here a lot.

It has suffered attacks  from DDOS   .

People attacked it by flooding it with false  info  they asked for bribes to stop attacking it.

This has caused downtime.

I mine here a lot.
I am highlighted in blue.

Looks like something is wrong with the pool. My miner is connected but no shares accepted in about 46 minutes.

restarting the miner helps!

But yes this is a bad error
if pool fails you hopefully have a backup configured but so you mine to nirvana:(

I get an error message when I attempt to withdraw my NameCoin.  It just says "Connect: null"  Is anyone else seeing this?  All my other coins seem to withdraw correctly.

let it grow bigger.  I get the same error until I go over 1 nmc then it works.

Even though the minimum for withdraw is 0.05NMC? That's mildly annoying..

Not sure if the Admin fixed it or if the threshold changed, but I just withdrew at just over .1NMC and it worked.
