hey anyone have this problem? my vircurex IOC account does not take IOC coins.

I have 2 other  IOC addresses one from

bittrex.com

one from

https://poloniex.com

when I try to make a new registration   mmpool is rejecting both addresses.

I would like to have a place to send my IOC coins to.

Nice!  Grin Finally 1 block. This block cost me a lot but hey this is bitcoin!

well the good thing about this pool is over the next 9 days if we hit a block it really helps to make up for the bad luck of last block.

Yeah but this is a big if  Tongue

yeah we could go 92 days like we just did.

You guys are tempting me to join. Tongue I have 9 more days of non-free electricity, than I might try my chance.

I 'heard' Vircurex delisted i0 coin + i think a newer coin with the same name is also called io coin that is scrypt 1024.
The io you see on lther exchanges (last I checked) was the newer rip off version not the real i0 coin.

Once it gets cooler in the ne US I will jump back in. I am small time but i want to support the pool & will take no payout in UNO.

One other suggestion--

It is always best/ ideal to mine to base 58 addresses you have full control of priv keys for.
i.e. mining to an exchange is not really ideal imo (& i think most others would agree)

easy to say harder to do in practice.  I have 4 qt's on one pc when i was getting ioc at first from mmpool it was next to worthless.

I did not care much so I sent it to vircurex direct.

even if I have an IOC - qt  if no one accepts  it  for trade, it is worth less.

so does anyone know where it will be exchanged?  and where I can point my mmpool.org ioc coins to.

If I can't sent them away I don't need them

last time vircurex robbed me i was trying to aquire some i0 !!

I got all my ioc out of vircurex   but I am the lead miner in this pool. So I earn a lot of ioc  I have more then 1200 ioc coins in my mmpool.org  accounts

all of my mmpool workers   have the same ioc addy that no longer works at vircurex.

but the coins are still in the mmpool accounts since vircurex won't allow the transfer .

I don't mind giving the pool op the ioc coins  ,but I would like to know how to set up a working new ioc address from an exchange.

If no one  runs a good ioc exchange mmpool should let us know.

i0 is dead I think Cry
I found nothing I could do do with this coin

mmpool seems to be the only pool mining it if vircurex is displaying a correct hashrate of about 50 TH
so its our "private" coin;)
don't know if we can trust a zombie exchange like vircurex

I still have temporary connection problems, so my miners report the pool dead and are switching away...

I am up and running pool seems to be working. If indeed we are the only ones mining IOC it is basically a dead coin since no exchange will let us do anything with it.

That does happen with coins.  the op may as well stop mining it.

No but the site has been under continuous DoS attack on the public merge mining port which makes it unstable. PM for a private mining address if you're not using one.

I0coin is now trading on Cryptopia.  It can be traded against eight different cyrptocurrencies.  Here are direct links to two.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=I0C_BTC
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=I0C_LTC

They also have a built in block explorer

I0coin is far from dead.  We're working on a wallet update to bring I0coin to 0.11.0, then 0.12.0 as soon as Bitcoin releases their version of 0.12.0.

Main i0coin thread is here.

I've implemented automatic variable difficulty adjustment and am looking for testers. If you're interested please send me a PM or email admin@mmpool.org and I'll send you the connection details. With this change there is no need to set the difficulty in the password. It adjusts automatically. Once tested I'll start migrating it to be the main pool interface.

Edit: I'm testing with some a variety of different hash rates at a rental service and it seems to be adjusting well.
