There was a network issue that took out the main pool server earlier that resulted in all mining addresses failing. This has been resolved and the pool is operational again. To avoid this happening again I'm setting up a fallback server for the main pool daemons and merge mining interface.

What right do you have or what purpose does it serve to disrespect a pool 's posted pay out system ??

If you do not like it, build your own pool, with pps, or whatever you like and open it to the public...... let's see you do better.

It's unpopular because if you own expensive mining gear you cannot take the chance of joining a pool which only finds a block once in a few weeks, or in severe cases even longer. It's all about variance, so if MMpool had 10 times its current hash rate, it would still be too small for big miners.

it did a lot better until it was subject to ddos for months causing a lot of stability issues.

we were doing 300th which was fine. now we do under 50th and up to 100th

pool appears to be up :-)

i have to re regisger and abandon my shares / since i want to include GRP which i never really noticed years ago when i initially registered.....

would be nice to see some others mine here ,  my own hash power is very small and may never hit a block but i feel this is the best place to point it.....

kudos to mmpool for keeping the pool running (in particular with recent attacks and thankless comments of some.....)

My measley hash is focused here.  I'm enjoying the merged mining while waiting for the next Bitcoin block.

I'm seeing "connect null" message on nmc withdrawals, in different mmpool accounts.  Does anyone know what this is?

I see there is some nice hash put up today.
Interesting how this pool scores blocks in runs. 6 in January, 4 in may.  Feels like it's overdue for another run.

I get those nulls on and off.  If nmc goes high like 1 nmc it seems to work.

I am pushing hash right now(160th)  and someone else was pushing over 300th early today.

I have an hour to go.  so others could pop in and we could bust this mofo wide open.

since btc is trending up in trade value vs. old style money lots of people are getting out miners they turned off and turning them back on ,

maybe a few of you will consider pointing some hash to mm pool and try to hit a block ?

you can mine several coins at the same time !!!

i know some people think that if we all point hash at the same time we have a better chance of hitting a block, actually this is not accurate any more than say if you play a lottery type game once a day for many days or buy multiple tickets all on the same day

if the chances of getting a winning ticket are very small compared to the number of other tickets could exist from a math angle the results will average out to the same.

i will admit there is a kind of psychological feeling that makes it  seem like we have a better chance of hitting a block when we are all mining at once instead of if we take turns or randomly point and equal amount of hash power at the pool ....
