Only people who want to perform day trading and are actually capable of making a profit with that strategy should look at the short term fluctuations and concern themselves with such things. Anyone else who considers themselves "investor" should only focus on the long term changes and currently we are in a dip which means even if there is more fluctuations, the current price is a discount as well and anyone who wants to accumulate should do it already (ie. don't just HODL, start buying).
The short term movement of the market is convenient for traders that are looking at day trading or scalping to make few profits from market. Currently, price has been consolidating and analyzing the price of Bitcoin should be easy for those that are taking short trade leaving the bigger outlook of the market for investors who are holding Bitcoin for long term purposea.

This calls for a lot of experience that many don’t have. It’s obviously one of the ways to benefit the most from market movements but without the skill and knowledge on strategy, one might end up loosing even more.
Any trader that don't have the skill should not trade and not to be called a trade. Trading can be complicated especially when the fundamental aspect of crypto trading is taking over the market. This will make those that are full technical traders to miss a lot of important signals from the market since they may not know how the news is changing everything about the market.

The difficulty that is associated with this strategy is one of the major reason why people resort to holding, it’s more reliable and you need no experience to hold, just the willingness to buy some more and a lot of patience. Profit would always be waiting for you at the long run.
The same way trading can be seen as difficult is the same way holding can be likewise difficult for those that are too emotional to hold getting panicked when price keeps fluctuating.

Why panic? If you’re an investor, you won’t be too concerned about Bitcoin’s current price, because your focus is on the long term, your profit-taking targets are in the future, so for now, just focus on continuing to accumulate.

The only ones who panic during a Bitcoin drop are traders, they seek to profit from price differences by opening and closing positions within a relatively short timeframe. They also tend to actively monitor charts, unlike investors who might only check them once a day or even just when making a purchase.

It is true that  investors doesn't panic when there is Dip because of their target which is long term but sometimes there is this fear when the price is dipping so bad after they must have had a good portfolio and I don't blame them sometimes because no one can tell what will happen for sure in this asset, so imagine having a huge funds in your wallet and then price started dipping massively it will surely look somehow I mean seeing your investment going down and you don't know when it will go back or beyond. This feeling is normal but that is why it is good to use a discrestionary income so you don't reason it much.

One thing that I have learned is that short term holders are moved and driven by News, Emotions, speculations. These sets of investors Panic alot when ever there is a slight change in the market.

Most of these you said here like panicking will only happen when you when you invest or trade with what you cannot afford to lose, but if you invest or trade with what you can afford to lose, you are not going to panic, or be in confusion because you know that you will still be fine emotionally and financially if your investment or trade did not go as expected.

Speculation will always be there in the market, so should that be a problem? No, because if their is no speculation, their wouldn't be much volatility in the market that produces money making opportunities in the market, so I believe that if things are done the right way, panicking or getting worried over the volatile nature of the market will never happen.

wether you use a discretionary income, an amount you can afford to loose or whatnot, at a time, you will feel the impact of a drop in bitcoin price. what keeps you going is a resolve you have made within yourself that you are not going to sell till you get to a certain price. it is that resolve that keeps you going when others are backing down.

Longterm investors may not panic sell when the price drops, but they can still feel disappointed, frustrated, and a little worried. Especially those who made a plan but didn't stick to it, or those who didn't have a backup plan.

Like those who planned to take profit during the last cycle but missed the opportunity because they were convinced Bitcoin would reach $150k. Many of them are surely pretty worried and unhappy with the current situation. Or the ones who went allin at $80k or $70k thinking Bitcoin had bottomed out, they're likely feeling the same way.

Whether we panic, feel happy, or get disappointed when Bitcoin drops depends on our preparation, plan, and strategy.

Before we invest in Bitcoin, We must have had a little understanding that Bitcoin is volatile asset meaning that we don't expect the price to sooth our curiosity, there must be ups and down, sometimes the price will continue to dip to the bottom to the extent that will seem confusing to investors, but that's the way Bitcoin operates, investors should get use to this, although I know that feeling that engulfed some investors when prices keep dropping so fast, but we should not forget that Bitcoin has history and that history has not fail to repeat itself, the ups and downs of Bitcoin did not start today and I do not think that it is ending anytime soon, that's what Bitcoin is known for, investors should invest with what they can afford in other not to get tensed when the price drops too low

It is true that when you invest with what you can afford to lose , you may not panic during a dip, however investing with what you can afford to lose won't totally makes an investor not to panic whenever there is a dip. When there is a downward trend or there is a great reduction in price , and investor can always panic as a result of seeing the decline in value of their bitcoin holding ,even when there is no need for the money they used to invest with. So  even those that invested with what they can afford to lose can still panic during a dip.
For sure speculation is part of the market and it has its advantages and also it's disadvantages. The most important here is for all Investor to always have a long term plan this will make them not to make impulsive decisions whenever there is a dip.

One thing that I have learned is that short term holders are moved and driven by News, Emotions, speculations. These sets of investors Panic alot when ever there is a slight change in the market. The price of Bitcoin has not been stable and with news about strategy once again planing to sell again part of their holdings we are expecting to see a drop in price.Going through this board I see alot of comments some even trying to blame strategy for their move.

Short-term investor do indeed play the game based on news, emotions, and FUD. That is the reason why they often become victims. When news broke that MicroStrategy intended to sell some of its assets, they immediately panicked and sold off their holdings without investigating the reasons behind the company decision. This is why those who consistently practice DCA and hold for the long term always come out ahead in the end.

Bitcoin is indeed not yet stable, as it is still in the adoption phase. However, this is precisely the phase when accumulation makes the most sense for investors. Just focus on the long term. Surprises or negative news are common in the Bitcoin market. Prices drop due to emotion, not because the fundamentals have changed.

This feeling is normal but that is why it is good to use a discrestionary income so you don't reason it much.
There are basically two reasons or elements that make a person panic as an investor. The first one is obviously a lack of knowledge because someone who doesn't know much about the market or its movements, has no knowledge about its history and how Bitcoin or other assets generally behave within a whole cycle, and don't know whether the price recovers after dropping or not, they are the ones who mostly panic when they see a dip, especially if the dip gets extended a little bit, which means that if Bitcoin drops $10k from its value, they will start believing that it's the end and they are now going to lose their money which is why they decide they are going to sell and take whatever is left of it.

The second reason is the nature of a person. Some people are generally impatient or lack self-control, which is why they easily panic in certain situations. So when they invest money in Bitcoin, and then they see that the market is going down. In the beginning, they will try to convince themselves that there is nothing serious and it will start recovering soon. However, when that doesn't happen, and the market just keeps going lower and lower, that is when they start panicking, and after one point, they can't take it anymore, and decide to sell.

That’s just what lots of people don’t even understand. You should learn about the volatile nature of bitcoin before you decide to invest in bitcoin. You should know bitcoin price isnt stable, their is always pump and dump, and you just have to be prepared for both pump and dump. Some investors are just interested in only bitcoin price pumping, and they get annoyed whenever bitcoin price is dropping. If you know you don’t want to see your money dropping after investing, then just stay away from bitcoin investment, because bitcoin price is just volatile in nature. After investing and bitcoin price keeps on dropping, you should just keep on holding, that shouldn’t create any fear that will make you sell your bitcoin just because there is dip in the market.

This does go away with time. When you are a veteran and spend time at bitcoin world for long enough, the bear market will not upset you; it will make you happy. Because if you have been here for long enough, you have seen many downs and many ups at the same time, and that means you are going to do a fine job. That is why the best thing we can do regarding this would be the fact that we are going to do a great job by buying at a low price. You have seen it go down before, so you are not really a stranger to it, and you know that it will go back up and even go past all time high as well.

For example, our current all time high is 125k, and I can 100% promise everyone that by 2029 at the latest we are going to go beyond that price. Knowing this means that when the price is low, I do not feel sad because I feel that I know what we are going to achieve, and I know that if I buy some right now, then I am going to make a lot more money in the future.

That's why traders and investors are different. Traders tend to focus more on monitoring price movements because they're more concerned with short-term market conditions and looking for opportunities to profit from those price movements.
On the other hand, investors focus more on the long term and aren't as concerned with short-term price movements. They may monitor prices, but they do so primarily as a reference rather than as a basis for selling decisions, since their focus is on Bitcoin's long-term potential.
This is why it's quite important to define where you stand. Many people claim to be investors, but when prices drop, they immediately panic and sell their assets, which only shows that they may not actually have the mindset of a long-term investor.

Maybe those who have that kind of mindset of fear when the price goes down is just a newbie in the market. So they might have studied that it's better to hold or they didn't have time to trade. So they chooses to be a holder, but they don't know that you need to have a different kind of mindset if you want to be a long term holder.

You will be tested here, or even tempted to sell when the price is very high and you are seeing $$$ profits already. But if you want to maximized your ROI then timing should be perfect and it should be at least at the peak of the bull run.

Does keeping an eye on the price make a person or investor panic when the price drops? Not so, not all have my opinion the same, even they face market conditions whatever there is to remain calm.

Then just delete the applications that are on your phone about price trackers such as Coinmarketcap and Coingecko, then also delete exchange applications often these provide bitcoin price notifications, so you will not pay attention to the price anymore.

If you don't check the market or the news then you will miss the latest news.
I completely understand what you mean and that is necessary to keep yourself abreast with what is happening, in the crypto space by getting information. But my major concern is the way and manner that people reacts to the market, at the advent of any slit or major news which may on the positive to some persons who may not have developed a strong mindset.

Bitcoin is now almost 17 years old and those who have spend time in Bitcoin knows that its price can go in both directions. We have seen Bitcoin price in last Oct at 126k and since then price is going down. This is nothing to worry because this has happened not the first time with bitcoin rather its just continuity of Bitcoin price pattern. This situation might be worrying for people who are new to Bitcoin but the one who is confident that Bitcoin will break its ATH of 126k is taking full advantage of this decline by accumulating Bitcoin. Not everyone has strong nerves to buy Bitcoin, when majority are saying negative things about future of Bitcoins.
