Celtic may actually win the league again, I see them as the strongest club in the Scottish league, and they are very strong and inform, whenever I see them playing any match I usually bet on them to win and they have been helping me win some money in gambling.
This season will be a very competitive season however I still believe that Celtic can still find a way to lift the league trophy.
Let see if Hearts and Rangers can stop Celtic this time around.

You just make a good point here Celtic FC has truly been on fire in the Scottish Premiership and it seems like Rangers are the only team that has consistently and persistently stepped up to challenge Celtic FC in the past and recent time.

Haissem Hassan could just be a thrilling addition to the team, especially if he can channel the same energy and creativity he has  displayed in the World Cup against Egypt and also in other international games, i am also really eager to see if any team in the Scottish Premiership will finally challenge Celtic FC hold on the tittle race this season in that league.

I don't like the way the Scottish Premiership is. The system they use isn't interesting. They have 12 teams that play 33 matches, but each team needs to play each other 3 times. This is the first problem. They would have to play each team twice at home and once away, or twice away and once at home.
Then, after match week 33, the table is divided into two. The top 6 teams will play the amongs themsleves; whoever tops the group after those 5 games wins the group, while the bottom 6 play 5 games among themselves and decide who gets relegated. This doesn't seem right to me. It's more similar to MLS style than other European leagues.

Instead of 12 teams, they can add 5 more teams from the championship and make it 17 teams, and each team will play 32 matches, home and away and the team at the top of the table after these matches wins the league. Or they can promote 6 teams and make it 34 matches.

Celtic has always being my favorite right from the start. Rangers are the only strong opponent in this league that could stand up against Celtic and that is a shame. The fact that they have won five consecutive league trophies makes the league less competitive and uninteresting as opposed to public interest.

The Scottish league has only few attractive personalities in their league compared to major leagues and that's the reason for less attention. Signing more eye-catching players would definitely bring more attention to the league, just like the Saudi League.

Ordinarily, there's definitely going to be that assumption that all leagues are using the same pattern but here is Scottish professional football league doing a different thing. I think they want to make a difference from the normal or traditional league system. They would want to continue with their difference but giving a chance to more teams by starting traditional league format will also revolutionalize their country.

Celtic secured a comfortable victory on the road against Kilmarnock thanks to Kasper Hogh’s spectacular goals in the first half. Kasper Hogh scored a hat trick in the first half, putting his team in a comfortable position. Celtic extended their lead to 4-0 early in the second half; although they conceded a goal 10 minutes after their fourth, they managed to restore the 4-goal lead in the 75th minute with a goal by Luke McCowan, and that goal sealed the match’s outcome. With this victory, Celtic secured their second win in their second league match, raising their points total to 6. They are currently tied with St. Mirren as the second team with two wins.

In the Scottish premiership, Celtic has been very outstanding, and showing spectacular performance for many seasons now, and looking at the way they have began the season, I can good force from the Celtic team which I believe they will likely win the Scottish premiership 2026/2027 season.
Celtic finally won Kilmarnock 1-5 away which was a very clear defeat and after win Dundee just 1-0 in their own home at first leg. Celtic is still going to face St Johnstone FC on the 22nd of August who won Kilmarnock in their first home match, and lost to st Mirren 1-0 away, and am strongly convinced that Celtic is going to secure their third consecutive victory against st Johnstone and also secure their 9 points.

Who do you think is the favorite for the title this season: Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Aberdeen, or someone else?

And the bigger question: Should the Scottish Premiership keep the split system, or would a traditional league format with more teams and 38 matches be better?

Does the current format create more excitement, or does it unfairly decide who plays whom in the final weeks of the season?

Looked at round 3 games and probably most interesting game there is derby between Dundee United and Dundee. Rangers skip this round as their game is postponed.

Sctoland isn't England, France, Germany or any other big football country and they can't just take and add extra 5 teams to Premier league. Even now level isn't that high here, why to reduce it even more.

The system they have makes it very hard for a smaller team to have a run-up and end up with the title. Hearts finished in first place; in any other nation, that would mean that they are the champions, but for the Scots, they have a stage after the league where they play some more, and that was the problem for Hearts: they lost there. They became runners-up, and Celtic got the title again.

I think as long as that system stays, the bigger teams will keep on dominating. But to be fair, we have normal leagues like Ligue 1, or La Liga or the Bundesliga, where big teams end up winning every year anyway.

That is what makes them different because in every league there clubs only meet twice, perhaps the number of the teams they have could also be the reason for that because I think they have the lowest number of teams, there are league with 20 teams and other ones 18 teams so maybe is a way of making the league to end late but however apart from this three matches I don't see the Scottish league as a boring league because they have so many nice club that I use to bet on there matches, one of those clubs are St Mirren and Celtic including a lot more, Edit, Celtic is the team that won the last season.

Celtic won the league last season and not st Mirren, Celtic won it at the expense of Hearts and it took until the last game of the season before Celtic could clinge the title after Hearts almost ran away with the title only for Celtic to come back during the last part of the season to snatch the title from them after beating them in what was known as the title decider match. Honestly in this league I find it difficult to trust any other team except Celtic with a straight win because of the inconsistency of the other teams , Celtic have controlled the league for many seasons and have been the only consistent team there, Few seasons ago we saw Aberdeen showing some great performances but at the end they couldn’t keep up with the consistency it requires to be performing, and the same thing happened to Rangers, last season we saw Hearts putting on a great performance too, let’s hope they repeat such performance again this season but i doubt if they can replicate what they did last season.

There are 10 teams in the Championship, 10 teams in League One and 10 teams in League Two. Surely, if they wanted to, they could get an extra 5 teams from these leagues to make the Premiership up to 17 teams. I know they are not a big country, but Scotland is big enough to have 17 teams in the league. It won't make the quality of the league any less than it is now. One club has already won the league 5 consecutive times, so how much worse can it get? I believe the league would be more competitive if they do it like that.
Hearts could have won the league last season if they used the normal European League style.

St Mirren is the team that won the last season.

I'm wondering how you arrive at this. St Mirren was not even among the top 6 clubs of the season. Celtic won the league, but at the end of week 33, I think Hearts were at the top of the league.

Rangers have been eliminated from the Europa League qualification and pushed to play the conference league meaning that they are gradually being push back to face the Scotish league mainly. If this happens, then they will haveess distraction this season hence may compete actively against Celtic who will be distracted by the chpions league. I want to see a very competitive Scottish league this season and not one in which Celtic will before the middle of the season.
