Op, you are right to some point but land or house is also a great asset if you ask me and it is also a good investment just like Bitcoin so what someone will do is to pray against these factors you are talking about that can be of a negative impact and I believe there is nothing God can not do. Bitcoin investment is not all rosey just a quick reminder because you will need to be patient, consistent and also make sure your seed phrase is always safe and secure because it can be really crazy if it is not kept safe.

Bitcoin or no Bitcoin, I think that its advisable for people to do what's best for them. If you don't have a house before and you want to get a house, I wouldn't say you shouldn't get one because real estate is also an investment only if you are not the one staying in it. Lease the house to people and get paid yearly is one way people make investment and if it's in a place where there is high demands for real estate, you are going to make money.

People should learn and do what they know will work for them. Bitcoin is very good but there is nothing wrong if you are make investment in other places. It is not even advisable to put all your money in one place, better still if you make the investment together, it's a plus but all investment that you want to make today requires patience, they need time before they mature and before you can make that profit.

Now I can conclude that you are a dumb ass that know nothing about Bitcoin and all you can do is to compared Bitcoin to real estate which is not compatible at all when you try to merge the two assets.
Ochacho gifted peller a house and you are comparing it to Bitcoin...as how na! Have you forgotten that you can lose your seed phrase and that will be the need to your Bitcoin portfolio. Have you asked yourself of what if you got hacked and your Bitcoin is stolen? What is the vakue of your Bitcoin depreciate? So why do you think real estate is a bad choice?

Well, he certainly isn’t dumb, in as much as you don’t see reasons with him and I might not see or think in that light as well, I do think his not dumb. He just has his priorities elsewhere or at least the OP wants us to believe that with the forum being a Bitcoinforum.

You’ve made certain inferences and asked questions that has got valid points. We really shouldn’t have to put these two things side by side though and while I would feel real estate is a good investment, it’s certainly one you can’t go in without huge funds but, you can do that with Bitcoin. However, you shouldn’t expect a lot of ROI in a short time.

Op, none of these is either a bad idea. The both of them are brilliant and a very great move to take as a young man planning future for his children. However, there is nothing that doesn't has it negative and positive side of it, everything in life definitely has, it all depends on our personal choice as humans. In my own personal opinion, I prefer investing in housing especially since it's what I intend leaving them for my kids when I'm no more. There is no specific reason for saying so but I just believe it will be more easier for them to manage when I am not there to guide them than Bitcoin investment. Please nobody should quote me wrong. What I am saying is that for the fear of if they might be scam due to their negligence or ignorant in it and maybe they might fall victim and lost everything along the line.

The ending part of your post sounds so funny, who told you fake Bitcoin cannot be sold to someone of cause it can be sold to someone, the rate of scamming is increasing everyday, I think there was a post someone was saying a customer sold fake USDT to him so this is very possible especially when someone doesn't have idea about how this thing works. It is true that Bitcoin can not be claimed by anyone unless the person has your seed phrase which means he can easily move your asset without you knowing.

You're the funny one mate, listen to yourself, incase you don't know, real Bitcoin cannot be faked like we have counterfeit fiat money, although scams through Bitcoin exist but have you ever bought a fake Bitcoin from an exchange before? Sometimes before you say something, think about it very well so you don't end up sounding awkward. You talked about a sold fake USDT yet the discussion is about Bitcoin, do you see that you're the funny one here? Trying to give corrections yet you don't even know what you're talking about.  Grin Grin

It actually depends on the interest or priority of the father or even the child
Some father's don't mind asking the child what he wants, either Bitcoin portfolio or houses? At this point, the child gets to think and decide which is needed or preferred.

In a case where the child is too small and the father cannot ask such questions, then I think its just beat the father decides which will be more favourable for the child. He knows the child and should have a little clue on how technical he is and what he might possibly like or handle. But if am asked to choose which is better, I would prefer Bitcoin investment, because even while they are grown, housing wouldn't be an issue since they can still leave in there father's house while they figuir out how long they can get there bitcoins or get ready to use it.

I can't believe that someone will be talking about a fake Bitcoin in 2026 when we know that such things does not happen. Let's say you two are having a little misconception here but let no one be deceived cause if nut scammers who would come up with different tactics to steal from people and hackers who can have access to people's wallets to steal their funds you can't be sold a fake USDT or Bitcoin I have never heard it happen. Always verify your figures before sending out your Bitcoin that way you won't make mistakes then blame it on scammers or people around you, invest wisely and avoid giving scammers attention.

I did some research about this lately and I have noticed that almost all the billionaires in Nigeria are now into real estate and most of them build and buy those houses in the name of their children. For example, let's look at the case of ochacho and peller, the 400m house he gifted peller belongs to his son. Will the building appreciate with time? Yes, but it all depends on the location and the economy of the country, and sometimes the government. Bitcoin doesn't depend on the economy of a country, government or the banks to function. Bitcoin are heavily influenced by global macroeconomic conditions.

Op economy doesn't decide the fate of housing in the country, have you not wonder why after all this low circulation of money in the country and poverty, houses still gone twice there initial prices before?, actually in our country houses doesn't drop on there prices because it increases at all times, the real estate you are thinking less is actually the same thing that has been generating a lot of millionaires in the society so is because of the potential the billionaires are still buying more houses and that's a good investment because it sustain and uplift their wealth, so actually is not everything we should be comparing Bitcoin because is not necessary since real estate could make a person wealthy.

I agree with you on the factor of custody transfer and the misplacemnt of seed phrases unlike other physical assets that has structure but the one thing I don't agree is you insulting someone because they don't have the same knowledge as you, that's one reason I don't like this forum, you can always state your opinion with out insulting the OP.

Another factor alot of  people don't consider is the appreciation of property value especially In my area, I understand Bitcoin investment might be for some of you guys but for a 10-20 years plan I would go for Real Estate especially if your area is still developing, my brother bought a land 5 years ago and it's already going 3x because of the construction of the road.

Is Bitcoin valuable? Is Real Estate valuable?  The answer for both questions is YES so i don't see any reason for comparison but diversifying into both of them, Bitcoin is a digital asset and Real Estate is physical which makes them very okay for diversification, given that if people want a digital asset investment they'll first consider Bitcoin and if they also want physical asset investment they'll consider Real Estate.
So let's quite the unnecessary comparison and think about owning both, I'll be very happy that someone is planning of holding Bitcoin for years so he can go into Real Estate with it when it's time to withdraw his reward or using the profits from his Real Estate investment to buy more Bitcoin for the future.

What the fuck are you saying mate, you don't know what you're saying and you are very confident about it, this is the first time I'm hearing this, just imagine what you are saying, what does fake Bitcoin has to do with what you said about USDT bro, so you're telling us that someone that has little or no knowledge of how the system works, can be deceived by sending him fake BTC right, I have try to see if you can explain to me what you meant by fake BTC but you didn't, you sounded very sure but no clear example of where it happened.
