Dear moderator, please pardon i am posting this in the wrong board as I don't have ideal of where this suits best except Meta section here.
Please this might also seem too casual for discussion but I think there might be other users in similar experience whom I will love to hear from.
So I don't know if there are other forum users whom somehow had really be impacted positively or otherwise intellectual and then, you have either a closed neighbor, partner or relative that you regularly shares certain events that occurs in forum here with.
I have often had this experiences but the ridiculous part of encounter i want to share with you all is about my spouse who cries out loud that I usually argues with factual principles like we are in the forum which had that had influenced my lifestyle.

Is there anyone of similar experience or if the bitcointalk forum had actually impacted your life in anyway?
Please do share your honest opinions.

First of all, the meta board is right in choosing this post.
Of course, if you are in this forum, you will be influenced by positive thoughts or knowledge while discussing with everyone. At the same time, some people think negatively. I personally came to this forum to have fun and learn. So if any funny incident happens here, I cannot not tell my family, I don't know if it is right or wrong. But I don't share everything with them.

I have often had this experiences but the ridiculous part of encounter i want to share with you all is about my spouse who cries out loud that I usually argues with factual principles like we are in the forum which had that had influenced my lifestyle.

The biggest effect of forums is that you will try to find logic, sources, and evidence instead of immediately believing any of the users' claims. But in real life, if you try to prove every simple thing with your wife, husband, or friends as if it were a debate, then it may not be good for you. Just remember one thing: not all conversations are about winning debates. In this way, you can gradually distance yourself from the people close to you.

It's for Reputation board, not Meta board because Meta board is for discussions about the forum, forum issues, suggestions to improve, upgrade, ...
Reputation board is for individual issues, reputation.

People can post in your thread or this one.

The forum is like an ancestral stool of bitcoin knowledge. It also stretches to other disciplines of life such as politics and economics and sports, so if you put your heads down it will definitely impact your daily lifestyle in a positive manner. The major point is to always filter noise from signal so that you can be sure you are learning right. Here are few things the forum has shaped in my life so far:
1. My reading habit has improved alot.
2. Improved my understanding of bitcoin.
3. Smoother communication while interacting with friends on different subject matters.

So I don't know if there are other forum users whom somehow had really be impacted positively or otherwise intellectual and then, you have either a closed neighbor, partner or relative that you regularly shares certain events that occurs in forum here with.
Yeah, the forum has impacted positively on my intellectual capacity but I prefer keeping matters and events of the forum private. I only use the knowledge I have gained to communicate and impact positively on others without disclosing  or sharing any event that occurs here.

Whatever a person spends a long time doing is bound to leave a mark on them. Some users have been interacting here for years, even decades. This inevitably leads to a certain kind of "professional deformation". Smiley

These days, it is best to keep quiet about anything related to cryptocurrencies, even with relatives and friends, who might not remain so tomorrow. Smiley Outsiders might interpret your interest in crypto, even just chatting on a forum, as a sign that you possess untold wealth in cryptocurrencies, with all the consequences that entails.

I have often had this experiences but the ridiculous part of encounter i want to share with you all is about my spouse who cries out loud that I usually argues with factual principles like we are in the forum which had that had influenced my lifestyle.
She is complaining because your "weapon proved sharper" and she is defenseless against your arguments. Smiley As you can see, the forum has brought you an indirect benefit.

Is there anyone of similar experience or if the bitcointalk forum had actually impacted your life in anyway?
Please do share your honest opinions.
Bitcointalk seems to have had a similar effect on me, as in my daily life I, too, find myself systematizing information, singling out the key points, and articulating them to the person I’m debating. Is that a bad thing? Just look at the people around you. Many of them spout incoherent nonsense, making it impossible to grasp what they’re actually trying to say. Should we send them to this forum for "re-education"? Smiley

Something funny you mean, is it about forum technical stuff or related to events as discussions in the forum?
I am very curious to know this let me know if I am also taking too much with others about forum stuff.
Or I guess you mean your earnings in the forum in joining signature campaigns. Perhaps this is one thing I can't share with others about forum so that it they finally develops interest to join they won't put making money in the back of their minds after joining the forum.

Bravo you spoke so well but in this scenario, just know that when you let the wrong idea to stay and let the right one to slide, then know that you are jeopardizing the reality.
ie; is the concept of getting the right information while in an opened discussion in the forum. Letting go unnecessary arguments is undoubted.
