I don’t like charts or constantly monitoring them, they make me feel stressed.
Yep, monitoring the charts too often may lead to feeling stressed. Moreover when we are seeing a series of dumps.
I used to play that game myself for a while, but after doing the math, I realized that if I had simply bought bitcoin consistently throughout the entire cycle instead of playing trader, I would have ended up with roughly the same profit, just without spending so much time, attention, and emotional energy. For some people, of course, the story has a more successful outcome, but for me, DCA works much better.
If you think you are more comfortable to be an investor, it is the right decision that you don't want to trade. Trading is only for the people who have enough time and have proper skills. Not all people must trade, people who prefer doing DCA and hold for a long term, they don't need to trade at all. I also rarely trade crypto coins, I more often invest with DCA strategy and set a plan for holding around 3-4 years.
I use it from the moment bitcoin starts coming down from its peak until the next cycle. During the period when bitcoin reaches new all-time highs, I stop buying and may gradually sell some of my holdings. Then, once the market starts declining again, I begin gradually accumulating bitcoin again. That’s my strategy, and I consider it a very good one because it’s calm, clear, and, most importantly, it works for me.
I also do the same strategy. It is quite safe strategy to buy during the downtrend and to sell during the uptrend. Whenever the price reaches our selling target, we should immediately sell the Bitcoin. This is the safest strategy in Bitcoin investment.
