I personally select my own games in the casino and bet on the games that I am familiar with and used to playing. It is good to try betting on new games, but when playing new games, there is a high chance of loss because there is no idea about the rules and risks. When playing familiar games, I have a previous idea about the rules, bonus features and risks, so it gives me more mental comfort. Another thing is that you will notice even looking at the interface of the games that are played regularly creates a psychological comfort. For me, the real appeal of random game selection is entertainment. But I would not call it completely harmless tho. Because you know, RTP & house edge of different games is not same. Long-run cost between a blackjack with 0.5% edge and a game with 5%+ edge will be very different.

So if casino gives me a choice between different game with equal probability then I am actually giving up control of my game selection. But I am not giving up the house edge. I sometime try this feature to kill boredom. But I do not write it off as mathematical advantage. Rather the psychological factor randomness feels fun is more interesting to me.

Simply put, no, I would never let any casino choose game for me. As you said that you come from brick-and-mortar casino, so you know that house will always play its cards in its favor, right? If any online casino gives you random game, it will have an algorithm in backend that will suggest you game. It is hard to tell if it has a low RTP or if it's more profitable for that casino. If I really want to try something new then I'll use a third-party tool to select game with my own filter. But I won't give up control directly to any casino.

I feel like a casino would put a player in a game that has the worst house edge so I think I would rather choose my own game. I lose enough to them without them helping me lose. I don't see an advantage of letting a casino choose what you play?

Getting bored is acceptable or losing money is acceptable? If getting bored is acceptable for you then definitely go ahead and try new surprises. But for people like me, who prefer profit over anything else, I will continue playing the games I am an expert in.

I have already tried many strategies, permutations and combinations in these games, so it will be more beneficial for me to play them rather than try the casino’s special games of the day. Practically speaking trying new games is not harmful, as you only need to understand the rules and place your bets. However it is better to stick to the games you already know so that you can minimise your chances of making losses.

Why not? After all, there are so many games in online gambling these days that sometimes simply don't know what to choose. This abundance of options can make choosing difficult; rather than wasting time searching and experimenting, can use this feature to have a game selected for you at random.

Sometimes I find it hard to choose just one game from the available options, so I’d be happy to let the casino’s algorithms suggest a random game that might interest me. If that doesn't work out, I can always switch to another random one. All in all, I’m open to this because I don't think it fundamentally changes anything, the RTP is roughly the same across the board, and the games differ only in their "packaging".

I've always written that most people idolize chance, and in this sense, random selection of casino games allows you to take the pain out of choosing and trust in fate. I think I would only let casino decide for me when I am using their own bonus offer to gamble, because obviously you don't have any option than to follow their procedure. But when it comes to the money that came out of my pocket, then I don't need anybody to advise before I will know what do with it and make things easier for me.However, it's already obvious that the casinos don't usually have good plans for gamblers, so letting them make a decision for you will definitely turn against you.

No. I don't let the casino to pick a game for me. Most of the time, I play the game I usually play, the game where I am always familiar with. But I am not against this feature, it's a great chance to try something new. Especially, if I feel that it's not my day or I'm out of luck on my specific game, it's not that bad to try your luck in random game chose by the casino.

Yes, sometimes I use this feature. I wouldn't recommend for people who think casino wants to take all your money at all costs or want to cheat you, play games chosen by casino, because it would be stressful and gambling is not about getting stressed but something to the contrary. I think it's silly to pick games which game you big wins in the past, but sometimes I'm doing exactly that. Idk, I like doing silly things just for fun sometimes.

I already have my own list that I selected myself, and all of them are already in my favorites list. But sometimes it gets boring when I play them, so yes, if there's a random button, I might use it. I believe this kind of feature will be more suitable in slots. I mean, there are too many games in slots, so sometimes it's difficult to choose. A gambler who cannot decide what he will play can probably think about just pressing the random button and seeing if he will enjoy it or not.

I will prefer to pick my game personally so whatever the outcome will be I will not have to blame anyone for giving me a losing game but if I let them pick for me and it turns out that I lose the game I will not be happy, that feeling of "looks like they already know that this game is not going to win" will kick in and I will feel cheated as well, we have the right to pick which game we want so nobody should be deprived from picking which ever game they feel is the best for them, and whatever the outcome is a gambler will take full responsibility rather than blaming the casino, I don't think is even right for casinos to pick games for a player it some how just does not sit right with me knowing how tricky and strict gambling games are.

Sticking to games you already won can create a form of overconfidence in you. That can be relatively dangerous. Over familiarity is not the way.

With any other new feature that looks like gamblers have an edge is just being delusional. There will always be an house edge.

I haven't actually seen or tried this feature before. Although, I don't visit too many casinos, but the few I have visited don't usually have this. I wanted to gauge the criteria they base the chosen game on - if the algorithm selects games that are frequently played, or new games the casino wants to promote, or maybe something else. This will largely influence if I'll accept and play the picked game or not. But if it is based on a random pick, then it'll be a hard NO!

I play most casino games based on experience and enjoyment. If I don't have these on a particular game, it's less likely I'll play that game much. So, selecting a game on my behalf that doesn't meet either or those criteria would be a pass.
