It's not a trap but it'd be normal for hesitation especially where we've previously seen it and end of May we did settle in this area briefly so a pause here fits.   The resolution here points to the depth of strength rather then completely nullifying the idea of a positive trend or even bull run.   These prices are also the peaks for the whole of 2024, it must have significance still I'd think.

   The pullback and test of a trend is where it proves itself properly and I would not guess that has happened just yet but it's not fake so far as I know, volume is the best confirmation.   The BTC move is part of a larger global move for BTC, Dollar and also Japanese markets which are a Bitcoin market also so I think its valid.

In any case, this market is really very unpredictable, for others it's fun, but for majority if could really be brutal. But we have to face it and learn and adopt to the ever changing market structure.

We don't want to be too assuming with what happens right now. And I agree that it's okay to be skeptical if this is a bull trap. But if it proves that it's no longer a bull trap then it's on us, the benefit is on us who have been holding. Well, at first I was going to say that it could indeed be a bull trap, but in the blink of an eye, I checked the price, and we're already at 77K. If it clearly breaks above 80K, then we can talk about a trend reversal.

It's clear that when the price rises so quickly, there has to be a decline at some point—it's not going to keep rising in an almost vertical line indefinitely. And what you're saying will surely happen: there will be sell-offs in the opposite direction, as well as profit-taking.

Assuming that a price in the range of $70k was a trap, then the price of Bitcoin should not have been propelled to $77k. This is an utterly frightening price action. The recent Bitcoin price increase has been exceedingly high and uncontrollable.

And I think this is a new trend being thrust upwards, looking at all my lines. When this trend is highly favorable, then the price of Bitcoin could shoot up to above $100,000 once again. You are correct, my personal prediction lines would not do any good now.

We need to be prepared for any potential price of Bitcoin. Today the price has already risen above $78k and as the price is increasing it will probably touch $80k in a short while. It is a greedy period for any type of Bitcoin investor and surprisingly I am standing like a pillar with my holdings because I know that soon Bitcoin will break the previous ATH.
This period of price increase is a trap for some investors because you will see them withdraw their holdings to get a small profit. They will later regret not holding Bitcoin and they will not find this great time of price decrease.

Long term investment is not a trap it is an investment opportunity because you will keep saving Bitcoin regularly without taking any risk and you will be persistent at any stage of price increase and build a holding.

The bull trap still going high, break $78k and still increase, I guess. But I am not sure if that is a bull trap or not, I suggested your Bitcoin at profit if you want. I sold at $77k and still hodl some amount I want to sell if the price really could reach $80k or high. I take my profit now assuming this is just temporary increases before the price drops.

The increases is not fake because you see what other people see so enjoy your profit if you take it. But it is no problem if you don't affect to the current situation and still hodl Bitcoin.

Literally, this time will lead to such a situation, no one could have expected. Although our estimate was that the maximum can reach 68 to 70 thousand. But a roll now reached about 79 thousand. It is profitable for investors of each, Even more than desire. For now, this 2026 price is at the peak, so some doubt is not unwarranted. For me, $70k could indeed be a bull trap,

Bitcoin passed $72000 already & I think Bitcoin is going to make new ATH! past bull run it reached probably $63k then fall back to $30k and then reached at a new all time high of $69k. history can repeat again! My target is $150k on this bull run.

Don't get it wrong here, we are still in the bear season, only considered for bull season to set in place when we are at about 98% to 2028 halving, but once there is no halving, everything will only be revolving round below $126,000 and from what I am seeing, we may only fall below $100,000 all through this year with Bitcoin market price.

To be perfectly honest, I did not see 70k+ happening this quickly; for me, this was not even possible, so I was wrong. Even breaking over 65k looked so tough. However, I know when I am wrong, and I was wrong. I thought we tried to break over 65k many times, and each time we failed, so we would just go down, and I was wrong. We did go over it eventually, and not only 65k, but somehow we reached over 70k as well. That was not something I expected right now.

So when I tell people that I am expecting it to go back down again, maybe they won't listen to me, and maybe they will assume that I am wrong and I can't say anything to them, because I was wrong here, so I could be wrong there too. But I personally will keep on staying out, because I think this is a fake run and it will correct and go back down again. I believe all the way until October or November, we are going to still not see the bottom, and when the time comes, we are going to see under 60k during those times.

A lot of people are calling the recent Bitcoin surge a trap, especially since we saw Bitcoin go from $62k to $79k with almost no major news at all. Yeah, there were some good news about Bitcoin, but nothing too big. 

It's possible the same scenario might repeat from $63k up to $70k, then down to $65k, then up to $73k, back to $63k, now $62k, and then up to $79k. Maybe Bitcoin could drop to $58k. Honestly, anything can still happen, especially since historically, halving always comes with highs and lows, and right now we're still waiting to see where the lowest point will be.

If the price of Bitcoin can hold above 80k until October, maybe the previous $59k was the lowest point. But if the rise from $62k to $79k, then in the next few weeks it can drop to $60k or maybe even lower, I think this recent increase is a trap. Maybe the downward target could still happen around $50k–$58k, and that's where we will start looking for the real bottom. So right now we just need to watch what will happen in the next few weeks so we can draw conclusions.

This increase is indeed what we long for, and the price of $70k has not been seen for a long time because almost half of the semester we have a price consolidation at the level of $60k which is very boring, now there is a little movement that is quite refreshing, my wet throat. lol

Even if this turns out to be a trap, let’s just enjoy this rally for now. If the price drops again, just buy more, the most important thing is to have proper money management and the right investment strategy.

Whether this is a bull trap or not I think the people that should be worried about this are traders and not investors because surely the market will still Dip to a large extent and then sweep a large liquidity that will enable or that will fuel it movement again to the up side but if the market doesn't get the amount of liquidity that is needed to propel it, the price will keep on going down till that liquidity is gotten that is why I said investors doesn't have any business with this.
